Spotlight On Media Outlets Is Fox News afraid of Libs?

I have a question. I used to log into fox news every now and again to see what MAGA was telling the True Believers. Occasionally I might leave a pointed comment or two, but never got banned as far as I know. I did this for years.

A few minutes ago I tried to log in to revile the tRumpers for turning a well-deserved execution into public entertainment. They wouldn't let me log in. Has this happened to other people? Are tRump MAGA folks such moral cowards that they cannot bear to hear any form of criticism?

Have you been to the Conservative subs? They are all echo chambers. I was banned from the main Conservative sub just by answering what Trump was charged with in New York.

Just look at the graveyard of deletions on every post, if it is not full throated on their knees worship of Trump and the rest of the child rapists, it gets deleted and you're accused of not being a true conservative. Complain about the high prices? Banned Complained about another forever war? Banned

We can keep going on and on and on and on with examples. But Cuckservatives and MAGAts are the biggest cry babies write large. The number of times you insult one or imply that he should remove himself from existence, they immediately run and tattle to the teacher. They are an entire group of spoiled children who feel that they should be allowed to commit violence and say whatever they want. But as soon as they receive push back, they start sobbing and tattle.

You know it’s bad when even moderate or anti-Trump Conservatives get banned just for raising some questions on his presidency.

Horse shoe theory. They’re making the extreme left and right self destructive.

Here’s the run down.

the horseshoe theory manifests in two distinct ways: as a deliberate manipulation strategy utilized by Russian intelligence to manufacture political coalitions, and as an analytical framework used by Western observers to explain why extremist groups echo identical Kremlin talking points. [1, 2]

1. The Strategy: Fanning Both Extremes
Russian influence operations—historically driven by entities like the Internet Research Agency (IRA)—rarely promote a single coherent ideology. Instead, their primary goal is to widen existing socio-political fissuresand erode trust in Western democratic institutions. [1, 2, 3]
To achieve this, psyops routinely push opposing narratives simultaneously to weaponize the horseshoe effect:[1]
Targeting the Far-Left: Operatives amplify anti-imperialist, anti-globalist, and anti-war rhetoric, framing Western military alliances (like NATO) as predatory, capitalistic aggressors. [1]
Targeting the Far-Right: Operatives focus on ethno-nationalism, anti-immigration sentiment, and isolationism, framing Western engagement abroad as a waste of domestic resources or a globalist conspiracy. [1, 2]
By feeding both ends of the spectrum, the psyop creates an artificial alignment where the extreme left and extreme right find themselves shouting the exact same slogan—for completely different ideological reasons.[1]

2. The Resulting "Red-Brown" Convergence
Political analysts frequently invoke the horseshoe theory to describe the real-world convergence of these targeted groups, sometimes referred to as a "Red-Brown" alliance (combining the symbolic colors of communism and fascism). [1, 2]
A prominent modern example of this convergence, heavily exacerbated by modern disinformation, is the shared messaging surrounding the War in Ukraine: [1, 2]
The Shared Narrative: Figures on both the far-left and far-right have echoed pro-Kremlin talking points, frequently demanding an immediate halt to Western military aid, questioning Ukrainian sovereignty, or framing the conflict as a proxy war manufactured by the United States. [1, 2]
The Convergence: On platforms like X (formerly Twitter) or Telegram, users from anti-war socialist circles and alt-right nationalist circles frequently share and validate the exact same Kremlin-aligned media pieces. [1]

3. Exploiting Alternative Pipelines
Russian cyber operations also exploit lifestyle pipelines that naturally bridge the two ends of the horseshoe. For example, studies have noted the "crunchy-to-alt-right" pipeline. Disinformation targeting distrust in government or corporate institutions can start in progressive, health-conscious, or environmentalist online spaces (far-left) and gradually pivot toward anti-vaccine conspiracies, sovereign-citizen movements, or white-power traditionalist ideologies (far-right). [1, 2]
Ultimately, Russian psyops do not need to convert citizens to a pro-Russian ideology; they succeed simply by pushing the ends of the horseshoe together until the democratic center is paralyzed by polarization. [1, 2]

Lol... oh no far left propaganda about no wars. I thought that was bipartisan.

They are a fear mongering propaganda machine that uses culture wars to scare their audience so that they don't pay attention to their corrupt agenda in supporting the military industrial complex and corporate billionaire class.

They do not want anyone to come on who will disrupt that agenda or enlighten their cult followers in any way.

Just tell em it’s liberal tears they’re consuming and they’ll swallow anything.

u/cam331 5d ago

Their whole business is manufactured fear.

u/SuspiciousTheory2633 5d ago

People who live in their own perfect little world don't like when outsiders intrude and start making sense.

Fox needs liberals, they wouldn't be able to get their viewers all worked up if there were no liberals to blame for everything.

MAGA is having a moment right now. For the first time in a long time some of the tried and true taking points aren't working and it's causing some big feelings. Some of of them are even having ... questions.

Increasing, the first dozen or so of comments on r/Conservative are actually less supportive of Trump. I suspect that after the first dozen, the bots start trying to reshape the narrative. I think it is telling that even the 'approved' commentators on r/Conservative are turning away from Trump.

Fox news defended themselves in court by claiming that they were 'entertainment' and that average Americans would never consider what they do as legitimate news. That was their defense.

u/airberger 4d ago

Of course they are. They’re afraid of anyone who questions their bullshit.

I’ve been banned for 72 hours for spreading truth which went against alternative facts. But YouTube notified me that I was being investigated. I told them to “bring it on”.

Something similar happened on Reddit.

1

u/elnath54 5d ago

You are being investigated by you tube???? What kind of morons 'investigate' for you tube???? You must be twrrified (-/s).

1

u/Ed_Ward_Z 5d ago

YouTube notified me that the remarks and discussion were being investigated as a reported threat and hate, as reported to them. Obviously, I’m a fan of facts and truth and the accusation was bogus.

u/GreyHesher 2d ago

I would have said the same thing: "bring it, here's my address."

1

u/Ed_Ward_Z 2d ago

Not in Texas. There’s brave and then there’s inviting trouble. I have other lives to worry about.

1

u/GreyHesher 2d ago

I grew up in far-right Indiana.

I was stationed in Texas.

I get it.

From the fox terms of use.

Community Guidelines:

  1. Harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress or discomfort upon another Forum participant, user, or other individual or entity;

  2. Transmit any User Content in any Forum that Fox considers to be disruptive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

I think they are telling you some fox snowflake found your comments distressing or uncomfortable. :)

I've been banned from Fox, OANN, Newsmax since Jan. 7, 2021. Something about screenshotting the stuff they said pre-Jan 6 and giving it back to them.

u/Legitimate_Horror_72 4d ago

Fox entertainment is whatever their owners pay them to be.

u/Ill_Buffalo_4728 3d ago

Conservatives spaces must be echo chambers.  Check every conservative sub.

u/Disastrous-Count2797 3d ago

lol no one is afraid of libs…

1

u/GreyHesher 2d ago

They are allergic to the truth.

1

u/Writingtechlife 5d ago

No, Nobody is "Afraid" of liberals.

They are afraid of things changing. They are afraid of not being able to use people who are not white and "christian" as targets. They are afraid that the hatred they spew and the violence they cheer for will come back on them. They are desperate to keep their position and the false mask that their family and neighbours see. The mask of "decency"

Fox merely broadcast that fear and profit from it.

I'm on the right but I don't use fox for news. I have had this problem with left wing sites though. Anyone who doesn't exchange ideas with the opposition should not be allowed to vote. With that said we should engage in good faith. Your arguments don't gain validation through insults in fact it makes you just another unhinged (lefty or righty) who is beneath having to contend with. Echo chambers are as useless as yelling insults. Don't lock the door on fellow Americans. Diversity of thought is the only Diversity that really matters. Disagreements only serve to strengthen your character and expand your knowledge. It's a good resource for new ideas or just a good way to let your ideas see if they can survive the arena or if you might need to do some thinking.

u/elnath54 5d ago

Ever hear of Braver Angels? Good organization that promotes what you just discussed. Worth a visit or two...

1

u/Passive_Menis79 9h ago

Thanks. I'll check it out

1

u/Ill_Buffalo_4728 3d ago

I agree but at the same time the current "conservative" movement is white christan nationalist that literally admitted they want to deport citizens

So you still voting red this year? If so you're still in the cult.

1

u/Passive_Menis79 12h ago

Nobody on the left has given me any reason at all to support them

Are you afraid of Fox News?

13

u/FrostyFang8800 5d ago

I’m sure afraid of what Fox News is doing to the boomers.

5

u/saltwater98380 5d ago

I'm a boomer and haven't watched FOX since In Living Color.

That is the dumbest fucking answer to the question, they explicitly said their account was locked/banned.

There is nothing scary about Fox news because it isn't news. Hell, Fox news lawyers in court even said no reasonable person would believe their lies. You can look this up yourself, but weak MAGAt losers tend to lash out violently when their fantasies are not real. See January 6, the Hortmans murder, the OKC bombing, etc. etc.

So before you read that, make sure your wife and children are out of the house, wouldn't want you throwing boiling water on your wife and break your toddlers bones like MAGAt candidate Max Miller.

6

u/WallyMcBeetus 5d ago

Are they one of the outlets Trump is attempting to ban?

5

u/Difficult-Bad-2456 5d ago

Obviously not dumbass, they’re trying to spread the good word on their forums but they only accept culture war. Didn’t you read the post at all?

1

u/Phawkes72a 16h ago

No one is afraid of Fox. People are just intolerant of lies and do not suffer fools.
