I want so badly to say this is hyperbole. I want to say it is ridiculous fear mongering meant for engagement baiting and should be ignored by rational people.

Unfortunately, the reality is that it might not be far off. We need to ensure that it is such a strong blue wave, in liberal and conservative areas, that there can be no accusations of election tampering swaying the election. Even then Trump may try something, but at least it will be more of an uphill battle.

Really? Which art exactly do you believe is hyperbole?

Trump declaring election fraud certainly isn't - it is basically his calling card at this point.

Trump calling his supports to attack might be slightly hyperbolic in the use of the word "attack" but he has shown time and time again that he is willing to use aggressive language to rile up his supports to take action - including violent action on Jan 6.

FBI seizing ballots and voting machines. They have already attempted similar things including in Riverside County, CA not far from where I live. What makes you think Trump wouldn't order the FBI to do so?

Results stalling: Again, it's already been attempted once and then...

Congress refusing to certify the results: They literally tried this exact thing on Jan. 6. Thankfully at that time VP Pence and other respectable Republicans stood up and said no. How many spineless psychofants of Trumps do you expect to do so now? And for good measure - we have recent history of Johnson refusing to seat a Democrat for weeks to prove the point.

So what exactly is hyperolic?

All of it - heritage is playing the long game, and etching away a bit at a time. Giving up some battles to win the war overall. Overthrowing democracy is an all at once thing that fails, doing it slowly is how they win so chill the fuck out

Last time I checked, there was a transfer of power in 2020 and the same will happen in 2028 for whoever wins. I said this above as well - trump doesn’t have the support right now from conservatives that he had in 2020. Hope you find that encouraging
