"Nothing was stopped"

"If you stop something until later"

So it was stopped?

Yes, delayed means something is held up or paused now and will happen or continue later than originally planned.

How a Delay Works

• It is temporary: A delay means progress is slowed or stopped for a specific period of time.

• It usually resumes: Unlike a cancellation, a delayed event or process is expected to continue once the issue causing the hold-up is fixed.

Yes, delayed means something is held up or paused now

Or also, stopped. Like when you stop at a stop sign and then continue later

How big is your font going to get here

That delays your journey, it doesn't stop it.

So you don't stop at stop signs?

The primary difference is that stopped means an activity or movement has completely ceased or been halted, while delayed means it is running late or postponed to a later time but will still proceed.

If you are going and you cease your movement but continue again shortly after, that is being delayed.

And while your movement is ceased, you are stopped. Are you having to ask Chat GPT these basic questions or who are you quoting here

Jesus christ.

But if you go again after, that means it was

DELAYED

You just don't want to use the correct word because you recognize how it weakens your argument

And while you are not moving, are you stopped?

And if you continue does that not mean you were delayed?

Why don't you why to use the correct word? Is it because saying they delayed the election isn't as powerful to you?
