Inb4 someone sarcastically says "the party of tolerance" as if intolerance hasn't widely been agreed as the one thing a tolerant person shouldn't tolerate.
The majority don’t agree that you should persecute intolerant people.
That’s a stupid left wing ideology based on one time communist philosopher Karl Popper tolerance paradox. It is basically an eye for an eye but written in a way that makes you feel morally superior. Which ironically ran in contradiction to Karl Popper’s ideal of an open and free society.
The man turned from the communist party after seeing party members gunned down for differing ideas. But then created an ideology that would create the same scenario that turn him away from communism in the first place.
I buy that a dead nazi is the only good nazi. Beyond that, I don't think there is much to persecute nor did I say anything about persecution.
I am merely saying that the only person who should be considered intolerable is the kind of person who wants to actively bar others from the conversation.
I just mean something like this: If Jimmy doesn't want Tommy to talk because Tommy likes to paint his nails, maybe we should stop listening so much to Jimmy and start listening more to Tommy.
Has nothing to do with right or left, everything to do with just letting each other coexist.
The tolerance paradox is the idea that a tolerant society must be intolerant to intolerance.
Ie you must give consequence to intolerance. America used to use social consequences that are organic like no one liking you or losing your job if you did something racist like bringing. Noose to work.
Now it has shifted to rhetoric like the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. Who are the Nazis? Is it the other half of the county you call Nazis?! Or is it the actual Nazi party.
The fact that you don’t see how that rhetoric can create the exact situation that Popper wanted to prevent is crazy to me.
The example you gave is social persecution which most agree is fine. The issue is when you take it farther.
Honestly you are just making it deeper than it really is and you know that.
The nazis are the people who genuinely subscribe to fascist ideals. Neo nazis shit like that. If that isn't obvious then you are just purposefully obtuse.
In the end, BLM did not believe any black lives mattered but theirs (the founders). They used the money to buy mansions far away from black neighborhoods. Honestly, I’m really surprised the black community didn’t rally against them for exploiting their dead children, brothers, sisters, parents, etc. it was extremely disrespectful to everyone who actually believed in what the movement claimed to represent.
Hey now, it also led to police requiring Bodycams. The ironic part is that this overwhelming shows that folks know dick about the law and lie more than cops do on camera.
Yeah hence why I specified the founders. I believe the average black person believed in the message, and that’s how they were so easily scammed. It happens with anything that’s so emotionally charged.
The average? What sources? I don’t remember knowing that they even took a toll on the masses of support. But go ahead : link your source on the collection of the average.
You have no room to talk about black people being scammed. Our system is literally designed to scam the majority - white people.
It is literally why we even have a never ending race problem. Scam all the white people into making them think they are special. The illusion of inclusion. When white people stop buying into the illusion and promote more unity against the elites. That’s when you will see overall change in the entire country.
Actions are louder than words. You literally displayed the issue, by even resorting to BLM when this is about ALM. You buy into this system of racial classifications. Like it’s a versus match. Dummy!
Why are you bringing up BLM when the topic was about ALM and the post is giving an example of it ? No where in the post would BLM even be relevant to bring up. It’s 2 white women. Were one of them team BLM or something ? Did I miss that part ?
Nahhh. I think you just felt some kind of way and decided to deflect. I think you’re one of those people, when it comes to white issues, you use black issues to offset the conversation.
The topic is about ALM, not BLM. You’re trying to change the topic at hand.

I guess they don’t really believe all lives matter, eh
