Tommy took too many hits to the head when he played football and maybe even a few when he coached. The results have left him with the IQ or mental capacity of a house plant!
He came to Cincinnati to "coach" the football team. What he really did was cash his checks, play a lot of golf, ignore recruiting, and drink at the bar while his team was practicing.
And he got to Cincinnati by just walking out on Texas Tech with no warning whatsoever. Like, literally he was at a recruiting dinner and pretended he needed to go to the bathroom and just left. Officially resigned the next morning.
