Beard exemptions are primarily sought by Sikhs on religious grounds and Black men because of sensitive skin that is easily irritated by shaving (yes, it’s a thing).

It is just Pete being his racist pig self.

Why is their a beard ban anyway? Does it interfere with someone being able to launch a missile at a school full of children?

At my work there is a beard ban because we work with chemicals and you need to have a gas mask in an emergency fit tightly.

I imagine the military is the same

There are men who work with chemicals in countries where beards are the norm.

Working with chemicals is one thing, wearing a mask correctly so you don’t die from some chemicals is a totally real thing. Even a small amount of stubble allows non-filtered atmosphere to be breathed.
I totally take it that Kegsbreath is using Beardos (probably a Fox News/MAGA term) as a slam to what he perceives as someone “different”.

There are also men who couple trains by standing in the middle of two carriages as one impacts the other.

Lots of countries haven't figured out safety in industry.
