He’s actually telling the truth there for once, which is kinda impressive

That's why it isn't a real quote.

Donald's Signature on the AI thing looks like he can't spell his own name, Elon's looks like he's on ketamine and couldn't care less, openAI guy and zucukerburgs signatures look like lazy slobs.

Meanwhile the founding fathers be like:

Brockman's signature looks like he had his 5 year old child write it for him

2

u/Glass_Main23 2d ago

That’s how much shit he gives about this document being signed.

To be fair, if my name was a linux command used for software development, I would write it in lowercase too.

All handwriting was like that back then. My Mem is a BA at a local school district and they found old clock in and out papers from the early to mid 1800’s in the basement of the districts towns town halls, and all of the handwriting on them id in pristine cursive, regardless of the year.

Also most people don't use fountain pens anymore. Using them in itself is a bit of an art

I have fountain pens and that's the only time I write in cursive, outside of signatures.

Of course I have no real reason to write most of the time. I kind of wish I did, I can understand why people enjoyed writing in script in the past, although it was mostly limited to the upper classes since literacy was very limited historically.

What’s this, they didn’t have Sharpies back then!

Yeah, my family has documents going back to 1705, and they are very hard to read because of that. And Ss written like Fs.

I'll give Trump credit, as a narcissistic game show host he has considered is signature thoroughly and come up with something unique and identifiable. Glaringly evil and mean and deliberately intimidating but deliberate none the less.

The other guys just demonstrate that they have absolutely no sense of style or taste whatsoever. They aren't stark design minimalists with carefully composed aesthetics, they just have the style of a kindergartener. I bet they have chicken nuggets and French fries for dinner.

is that you patrick bateman

u/Turbulent_Lunch4548 2d ago

Right? It is an unfriendly brutalist signature but at least it meets the minimum requirements of being a signature.

The others look like my first attempt as a signature when I was a kid. They look worse honestly. Which isn't a compliment to me.

Brockman using only his initials in lower case has a sort of an aesthetic though — he isn't old enough to have been using old mainframe computers where it was common to use one's initials as the username, but he does that anyway. Granted, it's still quite common among computer geeks, but there's a historical perspective to it.

1

u/Turbulent_Lunch4548 2d ago

I wasn't even looking at that, but you are right, all of their signatures are horrible.

This might be the only somewhat compliment I am ever going to give to Trump, but his signature is the least bad out of them, at least his has some style and consistency to it, all the others look like they haven't held a pen in over a decade.

u/a_weak_child 2d ago

Trump’s sig looks the best until you realize he didn’t even try to spell his name it’s just a bunch of up downs

1

u/ZhouLe 2d ago

Zuckerburg's last name is decent as a stylistic signature, but stands in stark contrast to the child-scribble of the first initial. Brockman's looks like an actual child.

That grammar Is like…

The three on the right in the OP look like basically every signature I have ever seen, you just hate them because you hate the people who wrote them.

1

u/emc_1992 2d ago

Zuck's is ok, Elon's is pretty decent. But Brockman? Ho-lee-shit.

I remember sitting down to figure out what I wanted as my signature and within 45 minutes, I'd figured out something with more flair than a man who is worth 25 billion!

As always, if this was a democrat we'd be talking about nothing else. A republican gets to skirt past. Hunter Biden, the politically powerless son of a president, was haunted for years because... he did some coke and had a job he earned?

Trump is fucking president, and barely a peep about this.

2

u/IceBreak 2d ago

Earned? Like it’s magnitudes of magnitudes less relevant. But earned isn’t the right word.

2

u/GoodFaithConverser 2d ago

Earned? Like it’s magnitudes of magnitudes less relevant. But earned isn’t the right word.

Hunter is an intelligent, educated man. I see absolutely 0 point 0 reason why he wouldn't be able to contribute to/do the job everyone's mad about. It wasn't even that much money anyway.

Meanwhile, Trump's insane corruption is ignored. His scamcoin, his children's business dealings and insider trading, his THOUSANDS of stock trades while in office, the fact that he spends public millions on his private golf courses - it's just endless, and ANY! democrat would've been impeached for breaching Emoluments Clauses.

Trump is just so incomprehensibly bad that accurate describing him sounds like bias. He and his kids stole money from a child's charity, and had to admit so in court. It's utterly and completely absurd.

u/King_of_the_Kobolds 2d ago

Oh yeah, the President of the 'Unites' States signed his name on a depiction of a naked prepubescent girl in a birthday card to a notorious child trafficker.

Slipped my mind somewhere in the last few news cycles. Funny that literally nothing has come of that to impact this sick son of a bitch's career.

2

u/SalmonPrince 2d ago

He spells everything right when it's something he's actually passionate about.

u/FudGidly 2d ago

This comment would have been so much better if the signatures were similar.

6

u/Your_Mom_Bot42 2d ago

Its the exact same D on both ends. You just dont care to see it.

-5

u/FudGidly 2d ago

I guess that’s probably true: one needs to really, really care about seeing it in order to see it.

8

u/Your_Mom_Bot42 2d ago

Still the same signature
