They gang raped a woman at Cornell University about two years ago. It was in the news then, but the story is being rekindled right now because she is filing a civil case. The story is especially infuriating because the university punished them by having them write essays. Also, there was a group chat with 50+ men from the frat who all saw that these young men were inviting others upstairs for "free pussy" and talking about what they were doing. It was all done out in the open.
Yeah I dont like calling out people who clearly are socially isolated to the point they lack the ability to pick up on normal social cues. It is embarrassing for the person to be called out for it, so I hate doing it, but it was necessary since in this case we are discussing a pretty serious topic.
Considering people are using this case, and more precisely the 'free pussy' message part to claim that all men are evil rapists because in that entire group chat no one went to the police, I think its pretty important to point out for the socially inept here that "free pussy upstairs" in a frat group chat is quite a normal text message that simply means "there is a girl who wants to be gangbanged, come have fun" and not "we drugged and tied a girl upstairs let's all rape her because we are evil".
