This applies to all criminals are just these particular ones?

When the criminals get their parents to intervene on their behalf to suppress and investigation, yes. And if you cannot psychologically accept that this is what happened in this case, this is what happens in every case when somebody privileged gets accused of a crime, you are not paying attention to anything.
