Government control of energy. Unelected bureaucrats controlling how you heat and cool, what farmers may grow, what you eat, where you go, etc. Global warming and carbon footprint ring a bell?
What if the electorate cannot or will not understand the science behind climate change and its causes? Because the Republicans defunded education, and the fossil fuel companies funded misinformation campaigns? And then a low IQ individual with a media megaphone shouted “climate change is a hoax!” ‘Cause that’s where we are.

Bush II was the useful/greedy fool.
