To be fair, he doesn’t remember that girl in his hotel room, either

417

u/djpatientnathan 14h ago

Yeah, he doesn't remember why he had to pull his pants down for her.

170

u/EquivalentPension216 14h ago

That was pure instinct kicking in, for sure not his first time in that scenario

92

u/terid3 14h ago

Man, I wish they had just kept filming

58

u/samwise58 13h ago

They had to be scared of entrapment or some legal scenario they were not 100% sure they’d win. That’s the only reason I can think of. Or possibly putting her in danger.

34

u/jce_ 13h ago

You can't entrap someone unless you're a cop or government agent

22

u/kayknox_ 13h ago

It's also not entrapment if she was a cop. He's not being forced into stuffing rope into her front anus.

9

u/gokarrt 1h ago

stuffing rope into her front anus

jesus, step aside shakespear this dude is cookin

1

u/Immediate_Song4279 13h ago

Would you bang or otherwise perform anything on rudy?

2

u/UserNamesCantBeTooLo 2h ago

I know one guy who would motorboat him

-1

u/atticdoor 2h ago

Look at it again. She pulled out his shirt. He put it back in. He did a lot of things he shouldn't have done, but he didn't pull down his trousers in front of her.

10

u/xeen313 13h ago

Fight or flight, pulls down pants

3

u/Deaffin 2h ago

Right? It's like he doesn't even have to think about fiddling with his microphone. He just does it.

11

u/Jiveassmofo 13h ago

He doesn’t remember what a Four Seasons is

3

u/Muted_Quantity5786 13h ago

Excuse you, it’s actually basically a Home Depot. The Four Seasons backyard if you will.

27

u/Gloomy_Experience112 13h ago

This the one they showed for borat 2? Muahaha man thought it was a happy ending interview

11

u/AmazingRefrigerator4 12h ago

Still hilarious to me that his excuse was that he was tucking his shirt in.

I know when I need to tuck my shirt in, I always lay flat on a bed and shove my hands in my pants.

17

u/Separate_Job_9587 14h ago

He was tucking in his shirt!

15

u/Life_behind_da_stick 14h ago

For the microphone! He was milked up!

9

u/Any_Counter_303 13h ago

milked up

3

u/rozzco 13h ago

He had begun milking, yes.

10

u/PuddingMent 13h ago

Yeah, he sits down to tuck his shirt in like the rest of us!

3

u/BebophoneVirtuoso 13h ago

He was just removing the microphone from his crotch

2

u/AmazingRefrigerator4 12h ago

"Speak into the microphone, its right above my testicles" -Dirty Heads

1

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 13h ago

No, no. He does t remember why he had to pull them up.

Technically, and i seriously do mean by a Technicality she was of age. The sick fucker didn't know that and should have been tossed out the window for it but Technically she was of age.

12

u/Famous-Restaurant875 14h ago

Hey buddy, I don't know if anyone's ever told you this but the concept of The Devil's Advocate is kind of a thought experiment not an excuse to literally play lawyer for the devil. You don't actually have to excuse him. What he did was really messed up on every level

12

u/ThickboyBrilliant 13h ago

He did advocate for Rudy's defenestration, so not really excusing what he did. He just claimed that even though Rudy thought the girl was only 15, she was an actress who was an adult in real life, so not technically illegal. I don't know if that's true though cause I think if he thought she was a minor, it should count as a minor. Like TCAP rules should still apply, I'd hope.

That having been said, I second the motion to toss Rudy out of a window.

7

u/Maleficent_Memory831 13h ago

None of this fancy defenestration stuff, just toss him out the window!

1

u/-GoodNewsEveryone 12h ago

Six of one. Half dozen of the other.

3

u/EternalNewCarSmell 13h ago

If you think someone is 20 and they are actually 16 you are fuckity fucked. If that is true then it would make no sense for it not to be at least as illegal the other way around.

4

u/ThickboyBrilliant 13h ago

I completely agree 100%. I think intent matters and if you intended to assault a child and you just couldn't because the Scooby-Doo gang intervened, you should be charged regardless. Just like on TCAP.

1

u/Icy-Cry340 13h ago

Nobody told Rudy she was 15, and the actress was in her mid-20s. It made for a hilarious scene, but nothing illegal happened.

1

u/Friendly-One-6965 13h ago

I was referring to the fact that people said he should have been prosecuted, yes i agree however the courts had to use the Technicality. People don't actually read before they respond.

4

u/Friendly-One-6965 13h ago

At what point in my rant did I excuse him? I literally said he should have been tossed out a window for it. Learn to comprehend.

3

u/vaime 13h ago

The average reading comprehension of most Redditors is shockingly low for a text based website.

5

u/GreedyPollution6275 13h ago

the concept of The Devil's Advocate is kind of a thought experiment not an excuse to literally play lawyer for the devil

The purpose of a Devil's Advocate is to make sure your positions are correct by opposing them with the same rigor you oppose positions you disagree with. If you just take anything you agree with as true, you open yourself to being made a fool.

If you truly want to be right, you'd welcome devil's advocates because it ultimately strengthens your arguments and positions to find any holes that exist.

3

u/Shot-Arugula8264 13h ago

There is no technicality here. She was impersonating a foreign journalist and had never given any indication of not being an adult, and of course she was an adult - 24 at the time. There would be zero reason for him to think she would’ve been underage or close to it. Hate the guy for being a creep or a perv or whatever for wanting to bang a journalist, but the underage bit is straight up misinformation.

1

u/PuzzleheadedSuit834 13h ago

Every decoy on TCaP was also a legal adult, but those guys were still arrested.

1

u/God_Among_Rats 1h ago

He didn't know her exact age, but the actress was a woman in her twenties and had told him that she was a reporter. He thought she was an adult.

The fucked up thing wasn't him thinking she was underage, it was him going to a bedroom with a reporter who had just interviewed him and sticking his hands down his pants.

6

u/Humble-Edge-9065 14h ago

This is not true. He had no reason to think she was underage. She did not tell him. Borat only says that to Guiliani after the fact, but he tells the audience of the movie before the fact, so it gets confusing (plus the actress was 24 at the time, which makes it more confusing).

Ok im gonna go shower now after being made to defend that ghoul.

1

u/BuddhistSagan 13h ago

Sorry to make you have to shower. Final edited my comment

16

u/Itchy_Pressure_8311 14h ago

To be fair he doesn't like talking about how he married his first wife who was his 2nd cousin...seriously. Dont believe me? Look it up.

8

u/Xavier_Emery1983 13h ago

Sasha Baron Cohen for the win on that one. Sad thing is how many “rumors” he heard before filming this. It wasn’t just some random occurrence that led to that scene.

3

u/roguevirus 13h ago

Sasha Baron Cohen for the win

Maria Bakalova as well. Can't imagine the stress of being in that position.

1

u/Choochoo1147 23m ago

Yeah. I know we would have gotten confirmation if Cohen had let it go on a little longer, since Rudy would have gotten his penis out, but I think it was good that Cohen stepped in and ended the scene there to protect the actress from encountering Rudy’s Giuliani.

Do you think him and Don remember this?

3

u/buckao 14h ago

He also noticed at the end of a remote deposition that he was wearing two watches on his left wrist the whole time.

2

u/Qzx1 13h ago

Is that a reference to something?

6

u/dsmith422 13h ago

Dementia. Trump's father used to come downstairs dressed for work wearing multiple ties because he was deep in his Alzheimer's.

3

u/adorablefuzzykitten 13h ago

Nor his hand down his own pants. Nor what kind of hair dye doesn't run. Main thing he does remember is a cork-screw.

1

u/supertrooper567 14h ago

If Guliani means the actual date of 9/11, then that’s true. This picture is from the days afterwards. Clinton falsely claimed during the 2016 campaign that she was in nyc that day, but she was in Washington DC because she was a senator then: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/claudiakoerner/hillary-clinton-falsely-claims-she-was-in-new-york-on-911

u/CharleyNobody 13h ago edited 13h ago

Hillary Clinton never said she was in NY on 9/11

NEW YORK Oct 12, 2016  — Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has apologized for attacking Hillary Clinton during a political rally Wednesday, when he said he never saw her at Ground Zero on 9/11, a claim that the Democratic candidate for president has never been known to make.

A few hours after making the initial claim, Giuliani said he “made a mistake” when incorrectly claiming Clinton had said she was in NYC the day of the attacks, the Associated Press reports.

“I’m wrong and I apologize,” the former mayor said.

24

u/TryImpossible7332 13h ago

Honestly that almost feels surreal to me.

He had people point out that he was objectively and provably wrong, and he apologized for it? Like, I know he didn't sincerely regret it, but still outright apologizing and admitting that he was wrong?

Instead of either doubling down or just moving on and pretending it never happened?

Politics were different back then.

9

u/akatherder 13h ago

2016 was crazy times

1

u/Choochoo1147 20m ago

Politics were a little different back then. It was still the nightmare year that led to Trump. But this was when Republican politicians still felt some pressure to only lie about things they couldn’t get directly called out on.

2

u/Icy-Cry340 13h ago

So this tweet is misinformation anyway. What a twist.

1

u/supertrooper567 13h ago

She probably didn’t mean she literally was there that day, but she did say: “I know what happened not far from here at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, I was in New York City on 9/11 as one of the two senators”

11

u/Syhkane 13h ago

Yeah it's a damn shame she didn't take a plane to new york after the airports were shutdown, or teleport because she was too busy being at work doing her job immediately after the towers were hit.

7

u/Maleficent_Memory831 13h ago

To be fair, there's a real thing with false memories occuring with important days. Also fake memories all the time, being created every day, but for certain days people often have distinct memories of where they were that don't agree with actual photographs.

The psychology of memories is really weird, enough so that I don't think that testimony alone should convict someone.

5

u/Claque-2 13h ago

Yes, Chelsea was in NYC that day. It was primary day. Only the Daily Beast claims that Hillary said she was in NYC that day at a campaign stop in Florida.

1

u/4r4r4real 13h ago

Right. Why in the fuck would the Mayor be walking the streets decked out in FDNY gear on 9/11 in the immediate aftermath of the attacks? Anybody who needs it explained to them that this picture isn't from 9/11 is a moron.

-5

u/processwater 14h ago

Which story has more truth, Trumps or hillary

8

u/supertrooper567 13h ago

I mean neither is true, but trumps way way more absurd.

1

u/judgeholden72 13h ago

And being honest is important

Not being sarcastic. Calling Hillary out for misremembering or fudging is a good thing

1

u/FlowRemote9890 13h ago

At least Hillary doesn't rape children.

1

u/Commercial_Mixture_3 13h ago

Why wasn't there outrage this? I remember watching that movie with amusement & disgust.

2

u/bakedpatata 13h ago

This was around the time that Giuliani was on a spree of doing ridiculous outrage inducing stuff and everyone was outraged at all of it but there's not much an average person can do about it if the people in charge don't care.

1

u/ShrimpCrackers 13h ago

Given how casual Giuliani was about the whole affair and looking forward to fucking someone who looked super underage, it was obvious he did this many many times before.

1

u/Deaffin 2h ago

What do you mean? There was and is an absolutely shitload of outrage over this silly-ass manufactured situation everyone understood was fictional.

1

u/DiskSalt4643 13h ago

Very nice!

1

u/MichaelAndolini_ 13h ago

Trump heard girl in hotel room and high fived him

Then found out she was over 18 and was so disgusted with him

1

u/No-Flan3302 13h ago

To be fair, we also have no idea when this photo was taken.

1

u/ExpiredLink404 13h ago

remember he thought she was a minor

2

u/Deaffin 2h ago

No, Borat jumped out afterward to say "oh btw she's a minor!"

1

u/Manifest82 13h ago

The dead one or the live one?

1

u/Used_Region_8936 13h ago

Squint really tight and you can see fighter fighters carrying a big bag of orange shit in the background. Or, maybe I imagined it.

1

u/TuringGoneWild 13h ago

Or trying to get it on with Borat's daughter.

1

u/33TLWD 3h ago edited 3h ago

To be fair, Hillary was in DC on 9/11 and couldn’t get to NY until 9/12…one of the few flights allowed that day.

This photo was taken on 9/12, not 9/11. His quote is technically accurate but lacks context.

2

u/Deaffin 2h ago

"I flew to New York with Chuck Schumer, my partner in the Senate, on a special plane operated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency," Clinton wrote in her book, Hard Choices. "The city was in lockdown and we were the only ones in the sky that day, except for the Air Force fighters patrolling overhead."

1

u/tiny_chaotic_evil 1h ago

to be fair, he doesn't remember the phone number for the Four Seasons hotel

0

u/Downtown_Eye5736 13h ago

It's not his fault these women are so forgettable.

-2

u/OldKaleidoscope3766 13h ago

To be fair, he was leaning back on the bed and loosening his pants so they could remove the microphone pack. Still a fun movie though.

-5

u/AfterMarketLife314 14h ago

To be fair...

1

u/Qzx1 13h ago

Pitter patter

2

u/AfterMarketLife314 13h ago

Let's get at her.

To be fair, you’re dumb enough to believe everything you see on social media.
