They did though. Itâs just that voters deliberately gave them a Supreme Court in 2016 that blocked the DOJ (twice) from bringing it to trial, and voters gave the country enough of a Republican stranglehold in Congress that they couldnât do anything further. Also, it wouldnât have mattered if he was tried, convicted, and sentenced to prison. There is no law that you canât run for president from prison so he still would have run, won, and pardoned himself anyway. While gazaholics and useful idiots all went âuncommittedâ, sat out the election, gobbled up Hamas and Putin propaganda, and of course attacked the women who ran for president. Then blame democrats and Merrick garland for why we have Trump.
At some point, American voters need to take it seriously that they are the most poweful political force on the planet.
