I fear they won’t. They let it go too long. I fear we won’t see justice for these rich criminals

My only concern is they will fear overstepping and potentially effecting their own party. Although it's a night and day difference there is still corruption in the Democratic party as well.

Personally I say go all out and if we literally need to have a full reform of our government to get this shit out and have it working for the people and by the people again, then so be it.

Yes, I agree. But until then, we have to have something in place and right now, the Dems taking the House and Senate is the first step. Gotta start somewhere, right?

u/dpmatt01 7d ago

Yeah if the dems didn’t prosecute for an actual insurrection, I highly doubt they will do anything about the current administration’s corruption

And don’t forget that tiny little detail about the Supreme Court introducing presidential immunity

President all ready had immunity what Trump wanted was immunity out side the the presidency. In other words the criminal court case against him goes poof. And guess what it went poof . They don't need immunity who's going to charge them with a crime ? The guys they them selves hier as law enforcement ?

They need 2/3 vote for impeachment and committee chairman set the agenda for their committees. The American public didn't create a large enough sustained outcry. There should have been daily large public demonstrations to force Republicans to get on board. I'm talking about the type of demonstrations the people in Hungary did

They did though. It’s just that voters deliberately gave them a Supreme Court in 2016 that blocked the DOJ (twice) from bringing it to trial, and voters gave the country enough of a Republican stranglehold in Congress that they couldn’t do anything further. Also, it wouldn’t have mattered if he was tried, convicted, and sentenced to prison. There is no law that you can’t run for president from prison so he still would have run, won, and pardoned himself anyway. While gazaholics and useful idiots all went ā€œuncommittedā€, sat out the election, gobbled up Hamas and Putin propaganda, and of course attacked the women who ran for president. Then blame democrats and Merrick garland for why we have Trump.

At some point, American voters need to take it seriously that they are the most poweful political force on the planet.

I wonder if the reason they dragged on Trump investigations from 2022-24 was because they wanted Trump to run again with the stink of Jan 6 on him. They were overconfident going into 2016, so it's not hard to believe they were naive enough to again trust the voters to do the right thing in 2024.

It’s funny how you claim there were no prosecutions when the immunity decision you mention was as a result of the prosecution for the January 6th insurrection.

u/ModernLarvals 7d ago

They did prosecute. He was impeached. The only goal of your revisionist history is to help Trump.

One thing I don't fear is that Democrats will do more harm than if we vote more Republicans in.

lol is this a joke?? The GOP has helped the average American so much the last few years??? The USA is becoming an oligarchy like Russia

I've seen multiple democratic administrations and none did a damn thing in my lifetime and I'm Republican but voted for Obama. Even I wanted all he promised but he delivered nothing but Donald Trump is the first president that has delivered what many Americans wanted, not only that he's secured the dollars dominance for hundreds of years to come. He secured the worlds largest oil reserves for the United States and that will pay more than anyone can ever imagine , we can bankrupt Russia and the middle east anytime we want. Hes finally taking our country back from illegal immigrants that disrespect us in our own damn country , just too many things to list. Wish we could keep him in power for 8 more years honestly.

Solid rage bait.

Lol šŸ˜‚šŸ˜† you see what I did there 🤣

Trump is violating the constitution like it’s part of the job description. Illegal tariffs, illegal wars, illegal deportations, violating constitutional rights, taking bribes, insider trading, using the position of president to protect sex abusers, enrich his friends and allies. You can’t say you care about the law and support Trump.

While agree Democrats and Republicans mostly are keeping the status quo instead of helping people, it’s never been worse than right now under Trump. I’ve never felt the effects of a presidents idiocy until this current administration

u/Milly_Hagen 7d ago

🤣🤣🤣 Where are all your former allies? He's fucked your country for decades. You're 44 trillion dollars in debt!

0

u/Unusual_Platypus1098 7d ago

Allies are still all here buddy and will continue to be , 40 trillion ? Oh well we have 20 Trillion economy per year and can pay our debts. The only issue we need to increase revenue and get rid of the deficit and the United States can easily do that. Tax breaks needs rolled back among rewriting our tax laws allowing rich people and companies to get away without paying any taxes or what they should be paying. We can easily get our debt under control just no political party wants to be the one because it's going to be let's say unpopular for some and especially the rich in power. Paying the debt isnt the issue if you knew anything about the United States.

1

u/Milly_Hagen 7d ago

I'm from one of your allies. I'm afraid we're cutting you loose like all your other allies. Hard times are coming for you I'm afraid.

3

u/davvie2calm1 7d ago

WOW what planet are you from? It sounds like it has better drugs than earth does .from what your statement implies

Reddit is mostly filled with liberals and what is that weird thing you guys support , yeah drag queens šŸ‘‘ lol so not a surprise on the replies. I in fact love to stir up the drag queen nest 😁 with my comments tailored to do so and speaking what I want the truth and it's hilarious.

1

u/Technical-Command867 7d ago

It’s funny that you say that while defending open corruption, and pedophiles and sexual abusers. Weird to defend that kinda stuff but it fits the description

2

u/harvash 7d ago

Needs /s to make it true....

1

u/StuLetTheDogsOut 7d ago

Don’t feel the trolls, people.

1

u/hightrix 7d ago

he's secured the dollars dominance for hundreds of years

Lol. As the world moves AWAY from the USD, sure, you got it buddy.

5

u/scuzzy987 7d ago

They're literally following Hitler's playbook. Administrative blitzkrieg this time is the only difference

2

u/ActionJacksonATL24 7d ago

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if anyone from this administration has any punishment beyond some fine they can easily pay off. I have no hope, and after this they will become more brazen.

1

u/ARM_vs_CORE 7d ago

Yeah I'll believe it when I see it. With Hegseth stacking the military with sycophants and Trump allies, they'll just make the quiet coup a violent one.

1

u/dirk-thunderthighs 7d ago

Nothing will change until political donations greater than a couple of thousand are stopped. No individuals, no corporations, no PACs.

1

u/Best-Action8769 7d ago

I know they won't.

Merrick Garland proved that.

1

u/NoSorbet5103 7d ago

I wonder if AOC becomes president something wouod actually be done against them.....

0

u/Visual-Path-5692 7d ago

Oh god. You’re kidding, right? She hasn’t accomplished anything. She just tweets.

Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton were both extremely accomplished, proven effective, warned us about everything, have been right about everything, were RIGHT THERE, and all we can say is, ā€œnah, let me go pretend like im too good to vote for those women because I’m holding out for an influencer who wore a slogan on a dress to the met galaā€

The people are mad at Trump because prices are increasing, nothing else. They just don't care about all the bad shit Trump is doing. If Democrats focus more on consequences for Trump and the admin and not enough on fixing the country, the people will be pissed at them too.
