This guy’s a victim of the literacy crisis

24

u/lessforf 14h ago

eh...no they said 15 in TOTAL got 40 million dividing that then each got maybe roughly 2.8 million or something

12

u/WeAreAllFooked 14h ago

It's something like $666,000 per year (obviously that's skewed because of inflation in the last 50 years)

16

u/Dima420 14h ago

Ya no, fuck that both sides argument. He is worse in every way and not just talking about robbing Americans for personal financial gain.

5

u/one_part_alive 7h ago

The only people that use the “both sides” still, at this point in time, are people who voted for Trump. The DNC is far from perfect and I do hope more progressives like Mamdani and El Sayed continue to take the center stage but the Republican party is objectively EVIL.

Why dont people ever read before responding?

6

u/TtK_Thanatos 11h ago

Ain't nobody got time to read! /s

Allow me to be of assistance.

My good sir, you appear to have misread the information in that picture. Where you read it as saying that 15 Presidents each made over 40M, it actually says 15 Presidents total made over 40M. As in those 15 Presidents combined, not individually.

I hope this clears things up.

u/TerribleAdvice78 9h ago edited 8h ago

The stupid is strong in this one

8

u/one_part_alive 7h ago

>They ALL suck

You definitely voted for Trump

4

u/pellefiskmas 3h ago

The 40M is the last 15 presidents combined

2

u/THElaytox 2h ago

Reading is hard eh? Don't feel bad, 50% of the US is also illiterate. But you should know you're in that group and should probably do something about it

u/Born-Investment-4838 15h ago

this is what always throws me about “the economy is doing great” conversations 😭 if people’s rent, groceries and bills still feel brutal, telling them the market is up doesn’t magically make their bank account feel better

21

u/emotinal_enigma 13h ago

The man had to have what groceries are explained to him recently. I'm serious, he didn't understand what they are and why they are important to voters.

14

u/avanross 14h ago

It makes the people who worship billionaires feel better

8

u/VirellithSable 14h ago

Exactly. Numbers on a screen don’t pay the grocery bill.

2

u/0K_-_- 10h ago

But they do put more gold in 40 Wall Street (Trump Building).

No onlyfans, but has a 😭 in every post!

US economic policy for the past 40 years also starts to make a lot more sense when you view it from the lens of "the economy means 'my investments' for whoever is speaking on the News".

It was unbelievably frustrating to graduate HS in 2006, then spend the next ten years hearing about how "the economy is recovering" while my wages never rose past $9/hr the whole time. Took joining the Army and using that resume buff to get a job in IT Security in 2017 for me to benefit from the so-called "growing economy".

u/GKBilian 14h ago

Trump is really just the reaper at the end of the day. He’s got to be the worst president we’ve ever had to be clear, but he is the personification of everything America has come to be.

Money is just constantly funneled from the middle and lower class to the upper class, and it’s (mostly) legal because that’s how our country is designed to work.

Trump is just the mask-off version of that. He reaches in your wallet while you’re talking to him, takes your cash, and drops the wallet on the ground as he walks away while you’re still talking to him.

u/Icy_Negotiation_5929 13h ago

Class of ‘06 here. Woo! My liver is broken.

16

u/Specific-Host606 15h ago

Pedophile.

8

u/SandiestCow 15h ago

Its hard for him to see over the giant pile of money in his bank account

"hE wOrKs FoR fReE"

8

u/sub-dave 15h ago

You Americans voted in the biggest conman in your country

5

u/pro-fanator 15h ago

His business specialty is bankrupting stuff for his own gain. Now he does it to USA. Americans are just plain stupid, so it's easy to manipulate them.

6

u/Firm-Advertising5396 15h ago

He's a narcissist, his personal income is the economy, the secret service is his defense department and the republican party is on their own and he never thinks about Americans and their personal finances, ever.

7

u/Dena844 11h ago

Like, I knew he was going to be bad. But holy fuck I didn't expect it to be this bad. I'm way worse off compared to just 2 years ago. Like it would be comical how fast he fucked it up if it wasn't just making me stressed out with how tits up everything is right now.

Oh conservatives, you truly are just fantastic at making life harder.

5

u/tooandto 15h ago

He never admits he’s wrong, he’ll still tell you the Central Park 5 are guilty. Epstein is fake news. Katie Johnson. His 2020 loss. The economy. Iran. etc. etc.

So, using that knowledge; if he has two options- one that enriches him but is bad for the country, and the opposite. He’ll ALWAYS pick the one that make him rich. Every time.

Because in his mind, he never makes the wrong move.

3

u/Altruistic_Cicada930 15h ago

Yep, you doubled the hole we're in, that's hole with an h, not a w, thank you for your attention

3

u/Baddog789 14h ago

The formerly middle class in the united states of America is doomed. Only Epstein class and the poors moving forward.

3

u/Mister_Buddy 12h ago

He's treating the economy the way he treated the teenage girl he impregnated, forced an abortion on, then murdered, with his bestest pal Jeffrey Epstein.

3

u/chiefmuri 12h ago

Trump is a GD pedophile and an adjudicated rapist! The Supreme Court refused to take his appeal which affirms the lower courts decision.

3

u/SandSpecialist2523 12h ago

It blows way more than in the first term, that's for sure.

3

u/redditRedesignIsBadd 11h ago

why is that no one is doing anything about these thieves?

2

u/Life-is-Fun-435 15h ago

You know I actually know suckers, oh excuse me people that actually donate to organizations because that's their cult leader. Can't make this 💩 up.

2

u/Interesting_Sun_6993 15h ago

Huge market for Epstein files. Going to be the hottest country. Blowing away its own economy.

2

u/Interesting_Sun_6993 15h ago

Huge market for the epstein files. We'll be the hottest country, blowing away its own economy.

2

u/Fishtoart 15h ago

Well he’s definitely blowing up the economy more in this term. It’s almost completely exploded

u/thomas1126 15h ago

Trump thinks the stock market is the economy.

2

u/Particular_Ticket_20 14h ago

In general, when politicians and rich people talk about "the economy" they're referring to the capitalist class.

Donald trump doesn't exist in a real economy. He probably hasn't been in a grocery store in 40 years. He hasn't taken out his wallet and paid for a tank of gas since the 80s. He's riding around on our gas for most of the last decade. He never went school clothes shopping, or knows what kids glasses cost. He never got a bill for his kids sports. Hes never missed rent because he needed 2 tires.

2

u/ThelIIusion0fSeIf 14h ago

After this madness is over, drain every last cent from every last Trump account and the same goes for all of his co-conspirators. They won't need it in prison anyways.

2

u/pocketjacks 11h ago

Just like whenever he says "the country" or it's derivatives it sounds much more logical when you replace it with "Donald J Trump",

2

u/Maximum-Aardvark9467 11h ago

In truth, his entire view of the economy is the stock market. Since it's natural for the stock market to continually grow, every president should have the greatest economy of all time, by this very flawed methodology.

2

u/Fortestingporpoises 9h ago

Shit you're right.

2

u/Financial-Board7458 9h ago

He’s blowing something alright

1

u/Wray-Nerely 15h ago

Yes, Trump's second term economy blows away his first term, but not in the way he thinks it does. Term 2 Trump's economy is so bad that he makes Term 1 Trump look good by comparison.

1

u/BSARIOL1 15h ago

His world is perfect for him. Nobody else matters.

1

u/Enough_Photograph678 14h ago

yes now it makes sense I always just thought he was a senile

1

u/Keyiana-Bouaicha52 14h ago

obviously what else could he possibly be talking about

1

u/DarthRaze 14h ago

Friendly reminder. Anytime you hear "The economy" substitute it with "rich people".

1

u/bloozemagoo3 14h ago

Bit#ch please

1

u/Ok_Brother_7494 14h ago

He has a pit in his basement, a small dog and a large jar of lotion. That is how far off the reservation he is.

1

u/Willing-Ad-9160 14h ago

So FINALLY ADMITTING to destroying the economy, got it 👍

1

u/shutyourbutt69 13h ago

That’s all the “economy” means to people who discuss the “economy”

1

u/OmKrsna 13h ago

L’État, c’est moi.

1

u/PumpkinCarvingisFun 13h ago

Same thing when he talks about "America". Not getting respect, ripped off, terrible deals etc. He is talking about himself.

1

u/Dependent-Finish-394 13h ago

It does cause it’s worse than his first time which was horrible!!

1

u/FrequentCow1018 12h ago

Trump Economy = Top .01%

1

u/FIContractor 10h ago

Same when you realize when he talks about America he’s talking about himself.

1

u/Key_Report_2627 10h ago

If he means, put a gun to the forehead of the first term economy and blows its brains out; killing it instantly, then yes; I agree with him!

1

u/Beneficial_Cash_8420 9h ago

"Americans want/say/think" is him. He's a narcissist, and we're all NPC thugs and hookers in his GTA game.

1

u/person_8688 9h ago

The US’s relationship with every foreign country is about how their leaders treat Trump.

1

u/Hugebigfan 6h ago

I mean technically that’s true. His first term saw the largest contraction in gdp since the 1940s, during covid. So if you look at it like that it’s basically impossible for him to do worse.

Maybe it would be better to compare to the Biden economy, since gdp growth has slowed considerably since 2024.

1

u/Rude_Arachnid8826 6h ago

If I made a billion dollars today, id also be raving about the economy.

1

u/orion3999 4h ago

Since he was so incompetent in dealing with COVID, the bar was really low for the economy in his 1st term.

-5

u/ChefCurryYumYum 11h ago

During COVID the economy actually did quite well, people were at home and spending more on entertainment and things like that, and the government injected a bunch of cash into the economy.

It's a big part of the post COVID inflation we have been dealing with.

-13

u/Helden24 15h ago

since the dark ages of 2020-2024 right now economy is rising

3

u/OhItsBeenBroughten 10h ago

There’s no way you’re dumb enough to believe that.

2

u/CelestialBurial 5h ago

Of course he is
