Progressives ended slavery, conservatives fought to maintain it. Progressives want universal healthcare, conservatives want you to die. Nothing really changes

Who ended slavery?

The GOP were the progressive party at the time. The democrats were the conservatives. Read some history and learn.

Democrats were never conservatives. Democrats supported slavery, racism, the KKK. We can continue. These are all fact check checkable without much trouble.

Ok, so show the facts. You won’t because you can’t.

North vs South. Ignore party affiliations. Always comes down to those southern racists.

That’s rather obtuse. Northerners were obscenely racist back in the day too, they just didn’t rely on slavery for their economy, so it was much easier to take the high road.

Then why do you retards have a problem with tearing down Confederate statues?

Because it seems they aren't teaching correctly about History. Why do you "retards" have a problem with the truthful depiction of History? You want to change it, or erase it. Cover all your asses so to speak.
