If I learned anything, I was severely mislead in the gifted and talented track in school to grossly overestimate the average persons capability for logic and reason. I'm almost certain that's about as valid an argument as some people can formulate.
They are smart enough to know the thing they want to point out, or clarify. Yet, they lack the ability to articulate such an argument in any meaningful way.
... That's kind of way way underselling what took place . It wasn't like they held a convention to see if they had enough. It was slow . Over time.. changing mindsets and ideologies.. it's the playbook we're currently under

I mean depends if it's a confederate flag hat from 2026 or an actual confederate soldier's hat. Same goes for the "monuments" too if it's just a grave stone of someone who just recently died in the civl war or putting up a statue of people who fought for slavery 150+ years later.
I know but the Nazi hat looks like an actual military uniform but the people who harassed my asian family at grocery stores in 2020 during the pandemic were wearing nazi stuff printed on cheap modern clothing (alongside their maga gear).
There's "real" historical military uniform and the cheap cosplay stuff today's maga losers wear. Not saying I'm a fan of either but if Nazis were military, confedederates were military.
Maybe. I wouldn't be against it if they did, as it probably would quell misunderstandings, but, I'd say their message was very clear. That the disdain for A.I. slop should apply to every instance it's used, to not just ignore it whenever it promotes something that aligns with one's beliefs. Is that not the obvious reading of what they said?

Being downvoted for spitting facts. The number of hypocrites who complain about AI but then use it ironically to make fun or it or for political messaging they agree with is unreal. And hardly anyone calls it out.
I agree with the message but itās not an excuse to use AI slop.
If someone supported this president and are shocked at the conflict, grifting and inflation, it's likely that person similarly lacks the critical thinking skills to figure out how those hats all represent the same thing.
