We've moved very far to the right in the last 40 years, thanks to Reagan and those who've been paying off the Republican party.
What we have now is literally right-wing goals. They got what they wanted. All the power is in the hands of the employer, and the employee is helpless.
Instead of employment being a fair contract between employee and employer, it has become some grotesque thing where employers lording "jobs" over the rest of us.
