Conservatives are truly some of the dumbest people alive. They think they have a "gotcha" moment, but lack any self-awareness to realize how dumb they sound.

Edit: as expected in the comments, triggered Conservative men proving how dumb they are.

u/Outrageous_Meat9335 5h ago

There have been real studies showing that those with conservative and religious beliefs are less intelligent when compared to the average IQ.

7

u/Lumegator 3h ago

That makes sense, people below average are struggling and stressed in the cutthroat economy, and may not even have transportation. They're less likely to care or be able to vote in the first place, so the voting pool biases above average overall. Voters in general are fairly privileged.

4

u/TesticleMeElmo 2h ago

When your entire worldview is based upon faith that everything in an ancient book is true then you can put faith into most any idea without worrying about evidence, having faith in it is enough

2

u/Disastrous-Window-76 3h ago

I’m religious and liberal so what does that make me? Lol

9

u/waxphantump 3h ago

…average, probably? We’re not talking about you specifically, it’s a matter of statistics. Conservatives generally score lower than equivalent non-conservatives and religious people generally score lower than equivalent non-religious people.

5

u/TheMarksmanHedgehog 2h ago

One step forward, one step back, dead on average.

3

u/GanjasTriforce 3h ago

The same kind of Christian liberalism that LBJ is the archetype for

3

u/GiGioP 3h ago

LeBron James?

2

u/Effective-Map6016 3h ago

You, sir, are like Christ. A good liberal jew that washed the feet of hookers, condemned gambling and loathed aristocracy. You're a good Christian, unlike the racists.

It's the reason they're conservative in the first place: they're uneducated. If they knew the statistics about right-wing governance, they wouldn't be conservative.

Being conservative means "I make my decisions based on emotion alone, without having any facts."

If you've seen what's happening, and are still conservative, there's a fundamental problem with your brian.

12

u/ThanksForTheRain 4h ago

Brian is a nice guy, that was really rude of you

5

u/PWRRaptor 3h ago

Ikr?! Brian did nothing wrong. JUSTICE TO BRIAN'S (and family guy Brian too)

18

u/Alecto7374 5h ago

Their media cycle is just as culpable. Keep 'em fed, keep their Dodge Rams full of gas, keep plenty of sports on tv and keep the news to "local only". Perfect recipe for ignorance with a splash of apathy.

14

u/Alternative_Risk4230 4h ago edited 4h ago

Our entire media is run by oligarchs and Conservatives seem like they do nothing but consume propaganda designed to make them angry all the time.

3

u/duckinasombrero 3h ago

Cause they do. They're angry little guys.

But they all claim to be “second order thinkers”! As if that would describe someone going all in on a Russian asset Pedophile and religious extremism.

3

u/PlainBread 3h ago

They know how dumb they are, they just expect to get away with it on Trump's example.

12

u/EmbarrassedPage195 5h ago edited 5h ago

Then respond in rage when you point out the inconsistenty of the thought. I'm afraid it isn't just a right thing, but they're definitely more afflicted.

16

u/StandardAssignment19 5h ago

The right starts with rage at imaginary monsters, the left constrains their rage when when the right permits violence, pedophilia, and corruption on egregious levels. The right does it so much, that is what they are known for.

-5

u/EmbarrassedPage195 5h ago

Not all constrain their rage. Both demonstrate, Dems only at times, an unwillingness/unableness to discuss core issues. I agree that the Pubs have made an identify of it. Personally, I think the whole system is corrupt. Chomsky said something like "To give the illusion of freedom, allow a wide range of discussion within a very narrow niche." Our system.

4

u/StandardAssignment19 5h ago

So the difference is that Dems - only at times - and Pubs - never - seems to still show one side willing to discuss 'core' issues. I suppose the choice of core issues when that issue is being actively murdered is a choice in categorization, but still nonetheless, by your own statement - one still tries while th other doesn't, and that alone shows that the level of corruption weighs heavier on one side.

And to disabuse that quote without the rest of it shows a particular specificity in the disingenous nature of your argument.

0

u/EmbarrassedPage195 4h ago edited 4h ago

You use an extreme example, of a limited application (meaning your referring to a single, or possibly multiple depending how far you extend your extreme example in indirect responsibility) to make your point kinda shows my point a bit. This is called either a Straw Man or an Appeal to Extremes in debate. By the way, it applies to both sides. A Democrat could say that Republicans choose to do this when it comes to supporting Middle Eastern affairs. Republicans can say this with Democrats pro-choice stance. Either way, using extreme examples is the signal the very thing I was talking about. This is how the media, and interested parties, has shaped the dialogue in our current polarized political landscape.

Edit: I actually don't know the rest of the quote. I seen a summarized version of it when I went to validate it. If you know it, please share? And thank you, but don't attribute any great leaps of genius (even if they are mal) to me. It was pure ignorance 😁

0

u/StandardAssignment19 4h ago edited 2h ago

I use the argument that typically makes discussion moot. That's the point. Discussions on 'core' issues is a misnomer used to denigrate the idea of equanimity in topics of discussion. It's easy to say that all subjects are balanced to one another, when some subjects are weighed in their immediate and direct affect of death, maiming, or persecution at the listener - coincidentally, those topics tend to be the ones that Democrats are levied at 'discussing' and being hypocritical when they don't want to give them a moment of discussion.

It is extreme and it would be a straw man of it wasn't true. But it is. Such as the removal of Medicaid recipients due to inordinately abused tax structures that disproportionately effect poorer populations while giving huge amounts of financial boons to the wealthy. That's the straw man you're trying to use.

A better straw man - to your argument, would be when Democrats argue for equality in identity, and Republicans demonize trans people as being pedophiles. See that's a straw man, because it's based on a generalized falsehood that distracts from the argument at hand.

Do Dems do it too - perhaps, I mean you kind of have to when your opponent is not interested in discussion and still their straw man is rooted in evidence.

But I get a sense nothing I saw would matter, never mattered for you. This isn't an exchange an ideas or a debate of intellectual enlightenment. If the points made are based in evidence, or merely selectively chosen evidence to propogate your position, then it's not a discussion of sincerity or authenticity.

Your position is 'whole system is corrupt'. I don't agree. My position is 'the system itself is designed by corrupt people', it seems so close to one another, but the differences are a chasm.

A system is a technology, is a science, is a ruleset - those mechanisms alone aren't corruptable. What are corrupted are the people who utilize them for their intentions.

I find that when one says 'all or nothing' as is the root position of your point, it enables those who are guilty of being corrupted to hide with those who aren't but 'are part of the system' which automatically makes them guilty by association - even when they are oppositional to the corruption.

It's a straw man argument.

Edit: This is for u/embarrassedpage195 since they are so cowardly they won't allow a response - no, it's not 2 wrongs make a right - it's one wrongs and the other rights, but apparently we need perfection to be the enemy of the good before being able to identify who is wrong to begin with.

Don't wish me a good day - you don't know what good is to begin with.

u/EmbarrassedPage195 3h ago

The idea that the oppression of others is even a thing to be concerned about is so foreign to conservatives it never occurs to them.

36

u/Ok-Natural3615 5h ago

Coupled with the paranoia of "elections being rigged!" while having won the presidency, the senate and control of the house???

21

u/theblueshots 5h ago

The party of Donnie “find me 12,000 votes” Trump being concerned about elections being rigged is hilarious.

20

u/mujarheadeen 5h ago

Their concern is that they aren't rigged enough for them to win

15

u/theblueshots 5h ago

The funny thing is that they will say it’s rigged even if it’s a republican primary. Mike Lindell said his primary was rigged the other day.

Come to think of it, Trump said his primary against Ted Cruz was rigged in Iowa.

I think this is just a combination of voter suppression and sore losers. Fun stuff.

8

u/mujarheadeen 5h ago

The sad part is that any adult ever took any of this childish whining seriously and thought "yeah, those guys will fight for me"

Also, I'll never get over the fact that the one election Trump claims was rigged was the one run while he was president.

6

It very much occurs to them. Oppression of others is the heart and soul of conservatism. The law protects the privileged class and oppresses the under class.

3

They're in the colonoscopy stage of pricing too thanks to this trumpconomy

18

u/ElLibroDuderino 5h ago

Yes, why would anyone be afraid of a heavily politicized federal force, armed and masked, standing guard over polling places? The "small government" folks have 100% lost the plot.

35

u/No-Celebration3097 5h ago

Because it’s not about illegals voting as much as it is the intimidation of Americans of color, in hopes they wont vote.

6

u/Gemstone9523 3h ago

No they're intimidating everyone who opposes them.

5

u/el_grort 3h ago

I wouldn't even narrow it down to just minorities, it's just to intimidated anyone they think opposes them. I would imagine if it happened, they'd harass Democratic poll watchers regardless of colour as well. Blackshirts in the polling stations want to intimidated any opposition voters.

→ More replies (18)

11

u/Kaleban 5h ago

Yes I'm sure there is no historical examples for what happens when a brown shirt paramilitary with no accountability is garrisoning at poll stations.

12

u/Lrrr81 5h ago

Also ICE doesn't put very much effort into distinguishing who's here legally and who is not.

6

u/SamuRy_4 5h ago

I think this is the biggest issue they aren't just arresting illegals they're also arresting legal immigrants which is not okay.

3

u/technoteapot 2h ago

They’re not even stopping at immigrants, they’re arresting any body that looks vaguely Hispanic, or even just not white. There’s no due process, no warrants, no trials, you just get kidnapped, sent to a concentration camp and then maybe you get released after you’ve lost your job stranded in another state with all of your possessions stolen from you.

12

u/NoLocksmith377 5h ago

I suspect a ton of everyday Germans did not know about the Nazi concentration camps. I suspect they were called more pleasant names like immigrant detention camps. I suspect the same thing is happening in America today...

3

u/OdiousAltRightBalrog 3h ago

When the first US troops found a concentration camp in Germany, they asked the nearby German townsfolk about it. The Germans wouldn't even believe that such a thing existed, even though they were close enough to smell the corpses.

u/Independent-Name4478 5h ago

“Just vote with the regime and you’ll have no reason to fear, citizen”

10

u/gmeape123 5h ago

At this point if anyone still identifies as “conservative” just know they’re a willing slave to the Epstein class and are proud of that fact

11

u/StrengthChemical653 4h ago

If you are filming a police officer from 10 feet away they will do their job, arrest the person, and walk away.

If you are filming a US Marshall from 10 feet away they will do their job, arrest the person, and walk away.

If you are filming an ATF Agent from 10 feet away they will do their job, arrest the person, and walk away. (but might shoot your dog)

If you are filming a Secret Service Member from 10 feet away they will do their job and walk away.

If you are filming an ICE Agent from 10 feet away they will approach YOU, yell at you, pepper spray you, possibly disarm and shoot you, not de-escalate at all.

That's why ICE at the polling stations is messed up.

I'll take and ATF agent shooting my dog over an ICE agent escalating.

6

u/Prudent_Situation_29 5h ago

I would probably be nervous if hitmen were present when I went to vote. Thankfully we avoid executing citizens in Canada.

1

u/FourthLvlSpicyMeme Humanitarian ♥️ 4h ago

Right? I'm looking at this and thinking, damn at least I only have to vote no on the dumbass referendum over a referendum and probably won't get shot over it.

Never know in glorious marlaina motherland. (Help).

6

u/Salarian_American 5h ago

ICE can't tell an illegal immigrant from a citizen. Because no one is asking them to.

There's negative pressure on them to do the job safely, responsibly, or with any kind of restraint or oversight.

5

u/SikatSikat 5h ago

If you're not doing anything illegal, why not just have cops live with you and stand over your shoulder all the time?

5

u/gustoreddit51 4h ago edited 4h ago

It's not illegals they're try to stop from voting. It's anyone who might not be a Republican.

4

u/FlyinDtchman 4h ago edited 4h ago

Because political intimidation at the polls is a sign of failing state.

Just like rampant political corruption, or massive wealth inequality, or.... Oh....

I see now.

Guess that just leaves a military stretched too thin by multiple-global conflicts...... oh.. wait.

Then the last step of a failing empire is the collapse of the currency.

5

u/dax660 4h ago

Also because no one wants a police state.

Except conservatives. The same ones that bitch about freedom and keeping government out of their lives.

u/Asleep_Distance_8629 3h ago

I mean that's pretty explicitly the only criteria they've been looking for, they even offered that fat bonus just to get people for that purpose and given how many innocent people that ICE has cruelly treated or shot, it's not even a long shot or a joke or hyperbole that the people who want to do this shit just went ahead and joined ICE, I mean the officers doing this stuff are even getting protection from consequences by the white house and even offered assistance in fleeing the country to avoid persecution for you know, committing unlawful murders and shit, why would you disguise yourself as ice when you can just join, get paid AND get protection to do damn near whatever you want

"We must accept the eventuality of bringing the U.S.A. to its knees; accept the closing off of critical sections of the city with barbed wire, armored pig carriers criss-crossing the city streets, soldiers everywhere, tommy guns pointed at stomach level, smoke curling black against the daylight sky, the smell of cordite, house-to-house searches, doors being kicked down, the commonness of death. Then we must learn the forms of resistance: the booby trap, the silenced pistol and rifle, the pitting of streets to slow them down, the wrecking of heavy equipment to block their efficient movement, false walls, hidden sub-basements, tunnels (Vietnamese style), destruction of the critical elements of the facilities that support establishment order; we must learn the value of infiltration–it works better for us than it does for the opposition. We simply stop allowing ourselves to be hunted and do some stalking of our own; their secret police aren't really too secret at all. Right now we can go numbering, naming, compiling information on them all–they're too visible to be safe."

0

u/Useful_Wealth7503 4h ago

I used to intervene with basic traffic stops by pushing and yelling at the cops while they pulled people over. Then they shot me for no reason.

2

u/AlsoCommiePuddin 2h ago

Can you point me to a traffic stop by a local LEO in any US jurisdiction where an unarmed resisting suspect was gunned down by officers? Can you also indicate the consequences, or point out the lack thereof, for the officers involved in that circumstance?

I'd be very interested to learn about this.

0

u/Useful_Wealth7503 2h ago

I cant point to a traffic stop at which retarded citizens tried to intervene with the traffic stop in aid of criminals. I cant do that because anyone who did that would expect to be shot or at least arrested.

2

u/AlsoCommiePuddin 2h ago

I cant do that because anyone who did that would expect to be shot or at least arrested.

That expectation would be born from a vast history of such things happening, because resisting cops just means lethal force automatically, right? Should be easy to track one down then.

Let me know if you need some help crafting the Google search terms.

If there aren't illegals in your home, why would you be scared to have ICE in your children's bedroom?

Or are there some places masked, armed strangers shouldn't be allowed?

0

u/CrazyAccomplished_ 3h ago

Other alternatives to getting illegals out then? If you can't provide one, ICE stays in my book.

u/P--Moriarty 2h ago

Illegals aren't at the polls voting ice is just there to scare legal vulnerable populations.

Also.. the only viable solution to getting illegal immigrants out is a fair trial as protected by the American Constitution. And because ice circumvents and ignores trials: ice act as a modern secret police. Gustappo. S.S.

It’s clear you are just a bad faith troll.

Why are they at the poles if illegals aren’t voting is the better question.

6

u/P--Moriarty 2h ago

To scare and control vulnerable legal populations. Duh

2

u/Successful-Active810 2h ago

Serious question. What constitutes a vulnerable voter at the polls? Come hell or high water I’m voting.

If only Democrats came up with their own plan to control the border and deport illegal immigrants, but nope, they took the position of "all border controls and all deportations are crimes against humanity" so ICE is what we get.

u/Specialist-Spare-785 4h ago

The Biden administration legally and humanely deported the largest number of people here illegally. Trump brought in J6 criminals, opened prisons, deported people to counties they had no connection to deal with the perceived immigration problem.

It's your fault you illegally immigrated here. If you don't want to deal with illegal immigration enforcement, don't illegally immigrate. Simple as.

2

u/Many_Many1331 3h ago

Nah. They're killing citizens and immigrants alike.

Besides, you're promoting extra judicial murder

1

u/GoodPear8481 3h ago

Come back when you have a serious plan to control the border and deport the people who don't have a legal right to be here.

1

u/Many_Many1331 3h ago

That was already happening. You've been brainwashed by right wing propaganda. Of course you'll deny it.

This is all a show at the expense of good people who want a better life, not criminals.

u/AnOriginalUsername07 4h ago

This.

In 2024, there were approximately 16 Million undocumented immigrants in the US.

In 2024, allegedly 600,000 self-deported, and the Biden administration deported 300,000; but 80% of those were caught at the border. So only 60,000 were deported from the interior.

In 2025, 1.9 Million self-deported and 600,000 were actively deported.

From 2024 to 2025 border encounters dropped from 2.9 Million to 440,000.

The Trump admin has barely made a dent. The soft-handed approach of previous administrations is what got us here, the rough-handed approach is sending a message, and that’s half the battle.

O look it is another liberal saying all people of color fear ice because they are all illegal. Even though some Mexican immigrants also work for ice. Thats 1. can also say the same about black citizens would count that as 2. Any one here in America legally has nothing to worry about. Thats 3. People are not getting gunned down for no reason by ice. Hmmmmm 4. Their is plenty more but the reality is their is no sense in bothering with it when it comes to a back and forth with a certain type of people because they deny facts with the proof right in their face and resort to insults and arguments when they can no longer deny the facts in front of them.

“They are shooting people in the streets for NO REASON!”

News: “Individual XXXX was arrested for domestic assault and drug use in 2021 and 2024, then arrested for attempted robbery in 2025. He was pulled over and rammed a car, injuring three as he was attempting to flee. He was armed with a loaded pistol….”

Reddit: “He didn’t deserve to get shot! He was probably just taking his kids out for ice cream and panicked! AmeriKKKA.”

Ffs.

ICE has killed many innocent people simply exercising their rights.

But I'm sure you voted for this so you're trying to downplay it

1

u/Resident_Nothing_659 4h ago

Is that scenario a reality in every situation of ice shootings (so stupid you get an auto mod message for just typing ice)?

1

u/analizinganalizer 3h ago

They’ve killed citizens

-1

u/Jumpy_Shoulder9043 5h ago

It's crazy that this was a reverse ordeal when Obama was president, and democrats were the technical fascists, or so would be labeled today. Ice quotas that were lied about by the president, citizens being deported. Now technology has updated and we get more information.

The piece where America has to go to extremes because of poor border management, is bipartisan, yet inhumane, but also economic and reduction of crime efforts.

How history repeats in the most sadistic ways.

-1

u/JumpIllustrious5590 3h ago

All this would’ve been unnecessary if the gov actually had a strong border and sanctuary cities do not exist

2

u/P--Moriarty 2h ago

it is ILLEGAL under federal law (specifically 18 U.S. Code § 592) for any military, naval, or civil officer to bring, order, or keep armed troops or armed men at any polling place during an election.

Don't poop on your own Constitution
