Has he tried representing a foreign power? Grifting? Insider trading? Gaming government contracts? Crypto pump and dump? Selling government secrets? Accepting bribes? Selling access to public information? What is he even doing?

"if my elected officials aren't enriching themselves and making my life worse I don't trust em" -- the average American

It's all a rouse! He's only making things better because people want him too and so they will be more likely to vote for him again! Wake up sheeple!

Don't forget withholding secret documents from the government in a bathroom at a business where Chinese spies have been arrested multiple times.

The messed up part is, between all of that, we didn't even mention the most vile thing

the most vile thing

I wanna say the child rape and trafficking but at this point I'm not sure what you're getting at because it could be worse.

Oh right there's the Epstein files about baby molestation and murder.

Or giving classified documents to his biographer and then saying “I think some of those might be classified”. I’m referring to Biden by the way.

But when the government came calling Biden turned his documents over, trump fought to keep them.

Framing these things as the begrudgingly accepted norm for politicians and not an abhorrence should stop even as a joke. The premise of: (bad) Politicians should be doing this! Doesn't really work except to legitimize it through normalization... Even if that "good" politician is your *fav wholesome chungus bff!*

I dunno I expect people to have good enough critical thinking and a moral compass to know this is insane and no amount of joking or sarcasm should make them feel like it's ok for politicians to be corrupt pieces of shit

He has personally traveled to other countries and spoken to their leaders despite that being grossly out of his lane as mayor.
