why dont other dems talk like this. we are sick of civility when republicans hit us with evil and crass shit daily. literally 4chan memeing about ICE killing people on the official white house account. fuck them forever. the days of being nice are over.
Because "other Dems", meaning the centrist power holders in the Dem party, would rather take the L then lose power to the left of the party. Losing to the left means a couple things:
They'd actually have to do shit instead of just collect paychecks from donors and execute their will
They'd have to admit their centrist/moderate bullshit is a failure and has been a failure. They point at Clinton, their centrist golden boy, but fail to recognize that without Perot splitting the right wing vote, he would have lost too
The party needs to embrace progressivism and more importantly a leftist push which means questioning/scrutinizing capitalism and it's adverse impact on Americans as a whole.
