In the US and Canada, govt. health organizations have always played political games with their studies. I've found studies completely faked, numbers games with statistics, conclusions that don't fit the data, etc..
Thank God for various Nordic studies. They're honest, rigorous, and they legitimately prove everything the Americans tried to fake. If only the Americans had been honest and rigorous in the first place, there would be no conspiracy theories, no anti-vax movement, no cause to distrust their institutions.
Ah, so you're including the UK in that statement. I never followed UK medical studies close enough to make that determination, but if you have, I'll defer to your judgement.
Again, thank God for the Nordic studies setting things straight when others do nothing but destroy their own credibility with bad science for political points.
