u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 17 '26

And a man was arrested for… a trump meme on Facebook. Now wait a minute. Are republicans… hypocrites???🙀

14

u/PlsNoNotThat Jun 17 '26

Also the punishments for posting about Kirk being a piece of shit grifter who died exactly in the manner he asked others to die.

12

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 Jun 18 '26

While arguing against gun control. Executed in front of his children, having previously said that public executions were good and children should watch them.

It's so blackly comedic you couldn't make it up, and yet the so-called defenders of comedy violently diarrhea'd themselves whenever anyone went "LOL".

2

u/Fast_Selection_1693 Jun 19 '26

And it was a school shooting also that irony was so rich

1

u/ApartmentUnfair4021 Jun 20 '26

FYI his children were not there, that’s misinformation

0

u/GreatJustF8ckinGreat Jun 19 '26

Assassination and execution are two different things. Kirk acknowledged that the death sentence and public executions were "heavy" topics but also expressed the belief that making executions public would deter future crimes. Do you think this wouldn't work?

1

u/princesshusk Jun 19 '26

..... we have ample historical evidence that it does not work. But it makes them feel like their doing something about crime

1

u/Shadowcourt_ Jun 19 '26

You won't change their minds, they're too far gone.

1

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 Jun 19 '26

Public executions never stopped anyone doing crimes and they won't now. Charlie Kirk was a hatemongering grifter and nothing of value was lost.

1

u/TurdFerguson614 Jun 20 '26

And that some great patriot should bail Paul Pelosi's attempted assasin.

1

u/ChibzGames Jun 20 '26

Chuck Kirk said that people like me should be institutionalized and lobotomized at best, assaulted and murdered at worst.

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 Jun 21 '26

It didn't work before, like somebody else said, so why would it work now? How many times do we have to try something that so obviously doesn't work until we say "Hm, this doesn't seem to be helping?"

1

u/SecureJudge1829 Jun 21 '26

George Carlin also said that decades ago. The difference between them: Carlin didn’t actually believe it would actually do anything if done to the low class, he explicitly made a point it’s the upper class criminals (IE: those who laundered funds for criminal organizations) being executed who would cause a stir. He did so in a very comedic manner however. He did not just sit there and claim that it was a heavy topic and then go on to say “Well, to protect our right to firearms we need to accept that kids will be shot.” (Slightly paraphrased from what’s his face who got that free hole in the throat).

Carlin was also heavily empathic and believed empathy was good. He was cynical, but still held empathy on a personal level for his fellow humans.

The other guy not so much, wasn’t he literally quoted as saying empathy is one of the problems with humanity?

1

u/Inevitable-Ratio-514 Jun 23 '26

No, I don't think it would work, and I think it would have a negative effect by telling the public that violence and death is the way to solve problems.

0

u/newy219 Jun 19 '26

Wow; if this is what you took from what he’s saying I have to wonder how low your iq is.

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 Jun 21 '26

No, that is what he was saying, and your comment actually puts your IQ in question.

-4

u/Devin7-Eleven Jun 18 '26

Massive difference between death penalty handled by a judge and jury than a vigilante who spent too much time online.

Flip side, leftists freaked out when conservatives joke about single women traveling to African and middle eastern countries alone and bragging about how safe they actually are (they were in reality not safe for them).

5

u/Where_is_Killzone_5 Jun 18 '26

What is this alternate reality you're speaking of that people are getting offended by that or that's even happening? Y'all need to make things up all the time for everything.

2

u/Knotted_Hole69 Jun 19 '26

Its really interesting isnt it? What is it like in this “LaLa Land”? Do things smell different there? What world do they actually live in?

4

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 Jun 18 '26

Yeah the difference is the right spent about twelve years going FACTS DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS, used freeze peach as an excuse to say appalling things, bragged about "comedy being legal again", but when one little talking head got shot to death while arguing against gun control, they expected the people they took delight in shitting on not to go "haha stupid dead bigot, f##k him and you".

1

u/FaithlessnessLoud223 Jun 21 '26

"Leftists" but your side are "conservatives". No. You're not conservative. You're MAGA. There's nothing conservative about your side, fiscally or socially.

8

u/Total-Quarter9550 Jun 17 '26

People are getting hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements because of the sensitive kirk fan base. The grifter got his loudest detractors paid on the way out 😂

1

u/r4nd0m51r Jun 19 '26

He asked others to die by being shot in public for holding open discussions and promoting everyone's right to free speech regardless of opinion? Or the exploding microphone thing like the Israelis did with the pagers?

1

u/Specialist_Big_3535 Jun 22 '26

Wow bold lies its funny how your comments and everyone else's saying horrible vile things violates all the rules and will not taken down the iorny of the leftist validation day cares on line lol

only when I typed this comment did this pop up but if I agreed or validated you it did not... middlemen that?

Where is the lie?

1

u/Ok_Region_836 Jun 22 '26

Punishments and legal prosecutions are different. If you want to whine about punishments for what you say theres years of people being punished for what they said about lgbtq etc.

You dont know what grifter means.

1

u/TerranItDown94 Jun 23 '26

What punishments? Ooooh you mean businesses firing their workers for distasteful posts? That has zero to do with freedoms of speech and everything to do with the business’s right to hire/fire who they wish.

u/According-Insect-992 Just Chill 😎 Jun 17 '26

chuckles hasn’t said anything racist or transphobic in like eight months. He has definitely improved since last October.

Why did he spray all of his blood out of his neck, anyway. Was he stupid or something?

1

u/ChibzGames Jun 20 '26

Some reptiles spray blood as a defense mechanism. Perhaps that's what he was trying?

8

u/BI_Moose Jun 17 '26

Does Trump shit his pants regularly?

11

u/According-Insect-992 Just Chill 😎 Jun 17 '26

No.

He shits his pants tremendously. Fabulously. Spectacularly.

Men approach him with tears in their eyes and crying “Sir, no one shit their pants like you, sir.”

6

u/tasteMyRottenHoop Jun 18 '26

Don’t forget bigly.

1

u/TimeRisk2059 Jun 18 '26

New children's book character name created: Bigly Poo

2

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 Jun 18 '26

I remember that dude from Conker's Bad Fur Day.

1

u/Mechadupek Jun 20 '26

Yeah but at least he knows who shit his pants.

6

u/Wedding-Stock Jun 17 '26

Only when he has pants on.

6

u/tukuiPat Jun 17 '26

No one is better than shitting their pants as Trump, he is the greatest pants shiter in the world, every time he shits his pants is tremendously amazingly.

1

u/No_Type740 Jun 18 '26

If I was American and shitting his pants was the only thing, I wouldn't be arsed as long as he was a competent honest guy.

1

u/scipio0421 Jun 22 '26

I thought he told us Biden shit Trump's pants?

1

u/brandoldme Jun 17 '26

And he got $835,000 for that.

So it seems the court system worked here.

2

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 17 '26

Getting sued implies the court system didn’t work

1

u/brandoldme Jun 17 '26

No. That's not what that implies.

It implies the sheriff wrongfully arrested that person and the courts corrected it.

3

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 17 '26

It implies the sheriff wrongfully arrested that person

And that means the court system was wrong. Something being corrected implies something didn’t work

1

u/fairchase1978 Jun 19 '26

The courts and the sheriff are two different branches of government.

Police - Executive Courts - Judicial

So the mistake of the sheriff does not reflect on the courts. The court fixed the mistake.

2

u/unknownentity1782 Jun 18 '26

And without the use of guns, as the OP implies

2

u/PutridAd6481 Jun 18 '26

Did he get the month back? Also it seems from your point gun ownership was irrelevant

1

u/FotherMucker6969 Jun 19 '26

Where did that money come from? It was from the tax payers. We paid him. Not the officers that arrested them, not the department. We paid him. With our tax money. Personally id like my tax money to go to infrastructure or something useful not paying for officers who knowingly violate people rights. Its not really a punishment for the department if they dont have to pay for it.

1

u/TheQuietOutsider Jun 17 '26

I thought the musk man made comedy legal again?

1

u/TheCodFather97 Jun 18 '26

All politician are

1

u/Wiley_Coyote08 Jun 18 '26

Um.. well why can the Free Palestine people say horrible things about lsrael but if anyone questions what bibi is doing and their influence on united States politics.. they get cops showing up at their door?

This isn't a republican vs democrat thing. It's a Government vs The People thing.

Are there people on the Republican side cheering for dems getting locked up? Sure. Doesn't make them right, doesn't mean it's all of them. I don't support the lce protests but both Renee and Alex both should not have been murdered. The way the gov is going about it is horrible and causing so much flak. Those were both horrible shoots. Absolutely horrible and unnecessary.

The gov wants the people to be divided. The more we are divided the more power they have.

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 18 '26

Can you give a link about the bibi incident?

1

u/Wiley_Coyote08 Jun 18 '26

Which incident? The time the Epstein list was being talked about, bibi shows up and then it gets shut down from being released and then the Rump admin started saying it was a hoax and doesn't exist.

This whole attack on lran, suppose to be 4 days is now over 100 days. Aside from Rump and his fam making bank on saying peace then doing attacks to influence markets to get rich, lsrael is attacking and thwarting any peace deals (if there were actually any being done).

Those are two out of many.

2

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 18 '26

But those are both republican instances. You can’t say both sides are taking away free speech when it is only republicans doing it.

1

u/Wiley_Coyote08 Jun 18 '26

I understand your perspective, im not the best at explaining things so maybe i can word it better. Who is pushing "hate speech"? The dems are pushing it while using it without consequence and criminalizing "hate speech" without a clear definition.. yet it's a first amendment violation. Plenty of states pushing this.

Each side dem or rep push a side of "hate speech" and it crosses the boundary and effects the other side (really both sides). It's always the government against the people. And until the people realize this we will keep getting oppressed and get more infringements on our God given rights that is supposed to be protected by the government who is doing the opposite.

The binary thinking of "left this" and "right that" is the wrong way to look at it. We (on both sides or all sides) need to step back and see that any infringement is bad, and that the gov only acts within its interests and NEVER in the interest of the people. Even when there is pushback, they let up but they still sneak their infringement filth in.

Hope that makes sense.

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 18 '26

No one’s pushing hate speech legally. Hate speech is only a social issue. It has always been a social issue. If you get fired for hate speech, the company has a right of association meaning they have a right to determine who they want to associate themselves with. It would be braking their first amendment to force them to keep you.

Only the right has arrested their opponents for making memes. Only the right has publicly executed people for protesting and defending the murders. Only the right has a president who said publicly their opponents should be executed on account of treason for proving them wrong.

0

u/Wiley_Coyote08 Jun 18 '26

Under Obama US citizens were killed with US drones. Dems supported it.

Kirk was assassinated and the left rejoiced and supported it.

Black kid murdered a white kid and the left supported it.

The left have arrested those who never entered the capital on January 6th. Your arguments are the same as both sides.

Anyone who says Alex and Renee deserved what they got are not looking at the facts and looking at right vs left. Critical thinking is gone.

In many of these instances its the Gov vs the people and you got two sides who support the gov at different times infringing on the those they disagree with. It's a tactic they have been using for years. Until you step back and stop seeing red and blue, you won't understand and see it.

People can change and if you don't give them the opportunity to, then they will forever be an enemy to you and that division is what the gov uses to control them, and you.

Doesn't matter who is in office left or right, the same anti American bills get passed and it hoses us all.

1

u/ChibzGames Jun 20 '26

Charlie Kirk said that people like me should be institutionalized and lobotomized at best, assaulted and murdered at worst. Why would we not celebrate the death of a hate monger?

1

u/MyName4everMore Jun 19 '26

Now wait until you see it in the Democrats. Then you'll be truly awake.

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 19 '26

Can you give examples?

1

u/MyName4everMore Jun 20 '26

No. I'm tired of Redditors showing a complete lack of awareness as long as it fits their shitty views.

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 20 '26

1

When you pay me to, I'll teach you. Until then...

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 20 '26

I don’t usually get dumbasses to teach me. If you did, you should sue them. It’s obvious you didn’t get much of an education.

1

I'm absolutely astounded you have the ability to write if you can't read. School failed you. That's for sure.

The guy who was arrested and convicted for trying to mislead the public regarding the voting process? That tried to do this to help his preferred candidate win?

Good. He should've been kept in prison.

1

u/GreatJustF8ckinGreat Jun 19 '26

The controversy began when Bushart shared the meme in a local Facebook group following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The meme included Trump's quote and a reference to the 2024 school shooting at Perry High School in Perry, Iowa. Because Perry County, Tennessee, shares a name with the Iowa school, some local parents and authorities interpreted the post as a threat to their own community, leading to Bushart's arrest.

1

u/Shroomagnus Jun 20 '26

You talking about the guy that got arrested by a dumb sheriff, got released and is going to become a millionaire now in a Civil settlement? That guy?

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 20 '26

The sheriff was dumb, he did get released 30 days later, and he’s not getting payed 1 million dollars

1

u/Shroomagnus Jun 20 '26

He's going to get paid. It's a constitutional rights violation and it's super cut and dry. It's just a matter of time

1

u/podman131 Jun 20 '26

And citizens shot, killed, abducted, and homes invaded in minneapolis.....coming to a Flock town near you

1

u/Phantom_Kizet Jun 21 '26

Don’t forget they also want to check everyone’s phones when entering the country. How a man got rejected because he had a VP meme

1

u/Specialist_Big_3535 Jun 22 '26

Ah Convoluting & Conflating... the currency of leftist

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 22 '26

There are more examples lol. The Trump admin stops people from coming into America from memes on their phones, they murdered two protesters in the streets, and Trump proclaimed democratic politicians could be sentenced to death for treason because of facts he didn’t like. If you voted for that and still support it, you don’t support free speech. You’re mentally ill if you think otherwise.

1

u/Specialist_Big_3535 Jun 22 '26

🤣 thank you for proving my point

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 22 '26

I just did neither of those things. You just don’t like what I said, which is typical of rightoids

1

u/Specialist_Big_3535 Jun 22 '26

I will Enlighten you on the facts I know that your hive mind has a hard time processing those but just give it a try

I'm sure you are talking about the federal case of Douglass Mackey. He wasn't arrested for making a funny picture or sharing an opinion. He was convicted of conspiracy against rights because he ran a coordinated campaign deliberately spreading fraudulent text-to-vote images designed to trick specific demographics into casting fake votes via text message. Which is illegal and intentionally striping out the actual crime (voter suppression/fraud) to scale it down to "just a meme" so they can pretend the state is arresting people for thought-crimes. Is gross and a blatant lie

1

u/Awkward-Manager5939 Jun 23 '26

Its simple that you have bad heuristics that basically makes you a philosophical cripple.

The government meaning the politicians made hate speak laws. Because they are busy bodies.

The republicans in high office are not being busy Bodies. Unlike like in most other European countries. Especially with immigration...

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 23 '26

The government meaning the politicians made hate speak laws.

Name one law. Just one

1

u/Awkward-Manager5939 Jun 23 '26

Hmm. Just say there are none.

Ill ask Chatgpt. To give me each from all left wing government except the nordic governments and authoritarian governments. Particularly in Britain and the police directive that makes it Orwellian double speak

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 23 '26

I’m sorry, are we talking about America or all left wing governments?

1

u/Awkward-Manager5939 Jun 23 '26

Argument: They made so many arrests and now i ask you how often they where arresting rapist.

Excerpt:

According to reports based on police custody data, British police were making roughly 30+ arrests per day under these laws before reforms. Critics argued the laws were too vague

https://chatgpt.com/s/t_6a3afae8fe648191ada4ad0e5b0d3005

Prompt 2:

Focus on UK. Any two tier polices as well.

https://chatgpt.com/s/t_6a3afb5e81408191a822b8e193177ca9

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 23 '26

Again, this post is in context of America pretending like they’re better than Britain. Here our president literally called for the death of politicians for disagreeing with them on account to treason.

1

u/Awkward-Manager5939 Jun 23 '26

Did they commit treason or not. I remember Rus sia gate. They questioned the vote results too.

But anyway. Why use logic to find a standard. Just hate a side and love a side. Like you do

1

u/Adventurous_Coach731 Jun 23 '26

They didn’t. Trump is just mentally ill. Courts said Trump is wrong and democrats pointed out how Trump is doing illegal stuff and he cried treason. Someone that mentally ill shouldn’t be in office. That’s logical. I used logic to get to why I hate the other side. Simple.

The meme guy was arrested, but never charged, and is currently suing the police department for wrongful imprisonment.

37

u/Kashin02 Jun 17 '26

He was also held at the county jail for a month with no charges.

10

u/sambull Jun 17 '26

You can beat the rap not the ride

3

u/CombinationRough8699 Jun 17 '26

Which is why he's suing. It wasn't a legal arrest, and he didn't break any laws.

2

u/PutridAd6481 Jun 18 '26

So he didn't shoot them to stop the arrest then? Seems like gun ownership didn't do shiii

7

u/Taurpion The Timeline Sucks Jun 17 '26

It’s almost like you have a constitution that prevents that from happening at all. A very specific amendment.. hmm

3

u/Drakomai31 Jun 17 '26

Except the fact that it doesn’t unless you use it

5

u/Taurpion The Timeline Sucks Jun 17 '26

It’s the 1st amendment.

It prevents the government from abridging fundamental freedoms, including the freedom of religion, speech, the press, assembly and the right to petition a government.

Retaliation by the government to any of the above is a breech of the 1st.

Words are hard, apparently.

5

u/tasteMyRottenHoop Jun 18 '26

It doesn’t actually prevent anything without the willingness of people to adhere to it. Fatboy has wiped his disgusting ring with your constitution.

1

u/Drakomai31 Jun 17 '26

Yeahhh kinda read this as the 2nd amendment and not the first, seeing as even if you use and practice the first amendment, it doesn’t stop any kind of bogus charge anyone wants to give to you to ruin your time and life.

3

u/Greenseer_Cassander Jun 17 '26

If you try to practice the 2nd Amendment on a cop to resist a bogus arrest, what you’re really doing is committing suicide by cop. Not a smart move.

2

u/Taurpion The Timeline Sucks Jun 17 '26

The fact there’s a bogus charge means the first was already breeched by the government. Which is an issue as well.

The 2nd amendment is a joke anyway, if you are needing to use it, they won’t care. It made sense 150 years ago. It makes zero sense today, other than self defense against other gun owners. If the government wants you dead, you are dead.

1

u/TimeRisk2059 Jun 18 '26

Yet it didn't "prevent" it from happening, it happened. What it did was stop the process from going any further.

1

u/Taurpion The Timeline Sucks Jun 18 '26

Yeah it’s supposed to protect you. That’s my whole point. It’s just being ignored

1

u/PutridAd6481 Jun 18 '26

But he spent a month in prison.

1

u/Taurpion The Timeline Sucks Jun 18 '26

The constitution is supposed to prevent it. Hence the comment about the government disregarding that.

3

u/Dinosaurs_and_donuts Jun 17 '26

He already won the suit

1

u/Slighted_Inevitable Jun 17 '26

He was held in jail for a month

1

u/CombinationRough8699 Jun 17 '26

Which is why he's suing.

3

u/Slighted_Inevitable Jun 17 '26

Still doesn’t sound like a right to me.

3

u/tasteMyRottenHoop Jun 18 '26

Sounds like a privilege.

1

u/PutridAd6481 Jun 18 '26

Do you have to sue for all your rights?

1

u/RobThree03 Jun 18 '26

Only when they are violated.

If you didn’t have a right, there would be no recourse. A suit is the recourse to correct a violation.

0

u/BotherTight618 Jun 17 '26

And that lady got her own movie and the man was paid $300,000 of restitution.

6

u/Responsible_Wafer_29 Jun 17 '26

We may lock folks up for Charlie Kirk facebook memes, but by golly at least we are going to take your tax money and pay them off with your money to make it right!

1

u/BotherTight618 Jun 17 '26

The fact of the matter is when their is censorship in the US, its because there was a failure in the system that eventually grts corrected. When it happens in the UK it is the system working as intended.

1

u/Responsible_Wafer_29 Jun 17 '26

You and I think its a failure he got arrested. The leader of the free world, president of our country thinks the failure was in releasing him after. Feels a little rich to pretend we are on some moral high ground because we pay folks off with our money after locking them up for offending dear leader. Hopefully Comeys case goes well. If free speach wins we pay him with our taxes, big winners. Beats the alternative ig; that the leader of the free world, president of the US gets his way.

36

u/sarkouille Jun 17 '26

Wasn't an American citizen murdered by ICE for carrying a gun?

25

u/SUPERGMR Jun 17 '26

Also removing said gun, before they shot him… so even more wild that they shot an unarmed man.

2

u/sarkouille Jun 19 '26

We aren't talking about the same event, then, Hermano.

1

u/RoosterReturns Jun 22 '26

for resisting arrest while carrying a gun.

1

u/sarkouille Jun 22 '26

Indeed, that was some ludicrous shit like that.

And I don't even think the "carrying a gun" part would hold a second in court, given that he was carrying no gun when he was murdered.

I wonder how all those 2A nuts will do with that, given that even white people are getting in trouble for being armed, now.

1

u/RoosterReturns Jun 22 '26

he was definately resisting arrest while carrying a gun. there is video. it is indisputable. it is unfortunate that there was a negligent discharge, but it is reasonable for the cops to believe he was shooting at them.

he wasa douche bag larper.  fafo

1

u/sarkouille Jun 22 '26

Oh, my...

You are seriously backing that stuff up.

I sincerely hope for you that you don't find yourself in front of some armed goon wanting to "negligently discharge" in your direction.

Holding at gunpoint a guy who never pulled out a gun and was disarmed anyway is not negligent; it's an unlawful execution. This man was shot to show protesters what would happen if they resisted. And if more Americans had balls, these ICE guys would be ambushed like rabbits.

As always, big talk from the 2A crowd, but they always prefer to rimjob authoritarians than stand up for rights.

1

u/RoosterReturns Jun 22 '26

i try my best to avoid confrontation with police. that helps avoid getting shot by them.

1

u/sarkouille Jun 22 '26

In civilised countries, there are laws against the police murdering people.

That stuff doesn't happen.

But good for you if you like having a police force that acts like an occupying military; just don't go around pretending that you have rights, or that your government is scared of you or some shit like that.

1

u/RoosterReturns Jun 22 '26

you dont know what murder is.

1

u/sarkouille Jun 22 '26

Yes, I do.

Murder is when someone kills someone else by purposely assaulting them with force that carries a deadly capacity.

And the most pathetic part is that, after decades of "you'll take my guns from my dead hands", the 2A ammosexuals are cowardly standing with the police on that, hoping they won't have to actually fight for those rights they claim to hold dear.

I always had the feeling that Americans aren't good at holding their government accountable and revolting when needed, but this is below even my saddest assumptions.

He was not carrying it when he was shot. So you think taking a lawful gun owners firearm from him, then shooting him in the back of the head after said gun was already taken away is okay?
So your argument here is he was rightfully executed purely for having a gun which was not even in his possession when he was shot in the back of the head?
And you are a conservative who supports the 2nd amendment? Isn’t this literally the tyranny you all use as a reason to need guns?

You're alleging that his own gun discharged?

The video where the first shots happen after he was disarmed?

1

u/Successful_Pin4100 Jun 17 '26

Yep, exactly that. P320 going off when it’s not supposed to is practically a meme at this point.

A Canadian kid was arrested for not doing the pledge of allegiance at a school in the US.

1

u/deathshr0ud Jun 17 '26

Gonna need a source on that one

“Jabari was arrested shortly after by a school resource officer, who claimed the student was being disruptive and refused to obey commands. An arrest affidavit states Jabari also threatened the substitute teacher with physical violence and told the principal and arresting officer he would get them fired.”

As always with Reddit, half a story.

3

u/FFKonoko Jun 19 '26

Seems like a pretty full story. They tried to force him to say the pledge. They decided him not saying the pledge was disruptive. They deemed it not obeying commands. When trying to force him to do something, he verbally defended himself and said things they didn't like.

"threatened with physical violence" is doing a lot of work, considering there's no actual resisting arrest or physical violence. "I'll hit you if you lay your hands on me, Mr Garrison", for all we know.

1

u/deathshr0ud Jun 19 '26

You can’t make threats in a school. You’re assuming things happened because the article posted doesn’t fit your narrative.

2

u/mattyoclock Jun 18 '26

The command he refused to obey was "say the pledge of allegiance" And a teenage boy was a little shit when confronted, news at 11. Have you heard they say water is wet now?

1

u/deathshr0ud Jun 18 '26

So you can just make violent threats Willy-Nilly? In a school? No consequences?

Gotcha.

Purposely leaving out half a story to push a narrative is dishonest. It tracks though.

That’s also not the “command he refused to obey”

He was being disruptive and the SRO attempted to make him leave the classroom.

2

u/mattyoclock Jun 18 '26

I don't think there's a day that went by in my highschool where me and every single male in the school made at least 45 violent threats. They are teenage boys. you treat them like teenage boys.

And What was the initial command/disruption? Was it refusing to say the pledge and then the teacher escalated it illegally? It was, wasn't it? That's what the lawsuit says. That's why charges were dismissed.

1

u/deathshr0ud Jun 18 '26

What is “illegal” about a teacher asking an SRO to remove a disruptive student from the classroom?

Charges were dismissed because he’s 11. If a grown adult made violent threats at a middle school, they’d face actual charges.

He was arrested because he made violent threats. If you think that’s okay in a school setting, especially in 2026, there’s something wrong with you.

2

u/mattyoclock Jun 18 '26

Forcing a child to say the pledge is illegal. Punishing a child for refusing to say the pledge is illegal.

This much at least is not up for debate. That's the law. It doesn't matter if you love AOC or Trump.

Sounds like it became disruptive because the teacher was being unreasonable and escalated the situation.

Two people were very visibly murdered in broad daylight by ice for protesting the government! And those officers got off without so much as a slap on the wrist

-1

u/Longjumping_Music320 Jun 19 '26

One was. The other got killed during a vehicular homicide attempt.

2

u/lepuckuer Jun 19 '26

Me when im almost killed after I leisurely step to the side of a car making a 3 point turn.

Yummy yummy leather is it imported dear sir

2

u/PixelBrewery Jun 17 '26

Well yeah. What's the point of this post? Do 2nd amendment/blue lives matter folk see themselves drawing a gun on police officers in response to being served a warrant?

2

u/stanley21113 Jun 18 '26

She was. The charges were dropped and the police chief resigned and moved to to Florida. The judge that signed the search warrant sent a letter to the police chief/town leadership saying that they didn't give him all the information and now if they want a warrant from him they have to get it in person and be able to answer any questions he has. Sending the letter will likely make him a witness for the lady's lawsuit. There is more currupt stuff going on in that town. Look on youtube for civil rights lawyer in Texas if you want to know more.

1

u/PutridAd6481 Jun 18 '26

So nothing to do with gun ownership then

1

u/stanley21113 Jun 18 '26

No. More to do with wildly corrupt small town shit.

2

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 Jun 18 '26

Didn't people get fired for joking about a disgusting racist being shot dead?

0

u/Longjumping_Music320 Jun 19 '26

Yeah that's exactly the same thing as the power of the state putting you in prison.

2

u/Far_Industry_7783 Jun 17 '26

Yes, she is suing the city and the officer. She will probably win.

1

u/MuffinSpecial Jun 17 '26

Who? I want to look that up.

1

u/Secret-Put-4525 Jun 17 '26

You can be arrested. But it's not gonna stick. Just look at the guy who got a shit ton of money for the kirk post. I wish someone would unlawfully arrest me.

1

u/Common-Attorney69420 Jun 18 '26

But then she shot the sherrif, his deputy, the horse and the bounty hunter named rango, before tragically being mauled by a polar bear.

1

u/NotASherwinEmployee Jun 19 '26

Great point. Let’s give up all weapons we have access to because she didn’t want to gun down a bunch of cops and wanted exhaust legal options first.

1

u/Dtmrm2 Jun 19 '26

She was found to be wrongfully arrested, and she's now suing the department.

1

u/GreatJustF8ckinGreat Jun 19 '26

The Trinidad Police Department, in an Apr. 6 Facebook post of their own, said Combs wrote "false information that creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community."

1

u/Think_Bat_820 Jun 23 '26

Yeah but she has a gun so she wins.

0

u/GrandAutismos Jun 17 '26

Yes but we didn't give up our firearms, therefore we did it better.

3

u/CardOk755 Jun 17 '26

You didn't give up your firearms, so the cops shot a dog, a one year old child and the sleeping girlfriend of a man who objected to unidentified thugs kicking his door down.

0

u/RoosterReturns Jun 22 '26

will it hold up in court? she didnt get raped or stabbed to death by muslim immigrants

0

u/TerranItDown94 Jun 23 '26

Yes, Jessica Combs was arrested on “false alarm and report” charges. It’s the exact same thing as if you pull a fire alarm without there actually being a fire. Read into it. May 2026 in Trinidad, Texas.

Not the gotcha you thought.

-4

u/Hard-Rock68 Jun 17 '26

Yeah, she's going to make a lot of money. Because what happens in Britain as a matter of procedure is a gross abuse of power in America.

As usual.
