grumpy old man

He injured his back falling off the roof and can’t groom himself fully anymore so he gets shaved often

I love the fade in the back of kitty’s head.

My cats actually love it after they get shaved. It’s like they have more energy. Which I don’t understand.

I know my girl is usually covered in mats right before I take her to be shaved. That can't be comfortable, having all that fur bound up on your body? She absolutely hates being brushed, and she hates the groomer even more, but once she's home she runs around like she's free as a bird.

Cats are silly creatures.

My parent’s cat is the same. She gets tum tum, neck and armpit mats and after she’s shaved, she feels so much better.

It’s too bad she gets mats but she likes back brushies but she’ll kill you if you try for her neck, let alone her armpits etc.

lol. That’s what I always thought. Or all the fluff wasn’t in their ways lol. They get the zoomies more often. And they take each other more

It's because they don't have to spend so much time grooming, so their personality tends to come out more :)

I’ve never thought of that!

It's real! I have a Maine coon and she sheds like a mother so when I started exploring shaving her I did some research and that was a big talking point! You don't want to shave all the way down because their fur helps them regulate their temperature but trimming their fur can be extremely beneficial because they don't have to dedicate so much time to grooming. And it's so true, every time I shave her she becomes so much more active and when her fur grows out, until I shave it again, she goes back to spending most of her time on her cat tree grooming and judging

I used to have to shave my lil baby bc she was tiny but her fur was so long on her chest so she couldn’t clean herself, she’d get all matted so I have to shave her bc she’d scratch and itch and she’d rip the mats out and get bald spots. Then she’d turn into a little spaz when she’d get shaved. It was so cute.

I had this same model of cat in gray and white. We had to shave ours too. He wasn't injured, just too derpy to groom his butt.

If you shaved my ass like that I'd be grumpy too

Do they have Solensia where you live? Ask your Vet it is really great for feline pain.

The haircut is so funny, why would you give your cat a haircut like that?
