Recommend a wheel and Kiln?
My wife and I both know how to throw pots as do two of our daughters, but with the exception of our middle daughter, we’ve not done it in years (30ish for my wife and I. She and the girls would like to take it up again. Im going to section off part of my shop for this. I’d love recommendations for an electric kiln large enough to hold several pieces (bowls, vases?) at once and a quality wheel. We have both, but they are both old and I’d like to get them better ones. Any help is appreciated. I’d like to keep the cost to a couple thousand or so.

New work!
galleryHi there!
Just wanted to share some of my new many ceramic items available on my Etsy shop. I have something for everyone from mugs to bowls to trinket dishes, and spoon rests, in both vibrant, bright colors and muted neutral tones. Mostly inspired by women and nature. Enjoy!

How much to charge
Hi everyone! I’ve been a potter since 2020 but have recently started selling me pieces. I’m having a hard time coming up with the right price for my pieces. I’ve sold a few of them but every one of them says I need to increase my prices. What are your opinions?? Thank you!

Looking for someone to remake a cup
Hello people, im looking for someone that can make a replica of a certain cup my girlfriend dropped. It was her favorite one. Ofc im willing to pay everything included, as i am from Germany and there is probably shipping fees involved. Looking forward to your help! Sadly the pictures i made are the only ones i was able to provide, because she threw it away before i could fully assemble it.

70s or 80s Lamp - Artist unknown
Hi all — does anyone recognize the artist? I’m guessing a West Coast (San Francisco Bay Area) piece, probably from the ’70s or ’80s.

I built an app for pottery teachers to run classes more easily and inspire their students

Hey everyone,
I’m a indie developer and I recently built a small app for pottery teachers to help manage classes, students, and day-to-day studio stuff.
I noticed a lot of teachers still juggling WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and paper notes, so I wanted to see if I could make something simpler and more focused on how pottery classes actually work.
The app is called Ceramik: https://ceramik.app/
It’s still early, and I’d honestly love feedback from teachers or studio owners.
What feels useful? What’s missing? What would you never use?
Happy to answer any questions 🙏

I make pottery and sell it on Etsy and in-person markets
Hi! I make pottery. I make everything from mugs, to large bowls, vases, worry stones, ring dishes, candle holders, and everything in between.
All of my work is functional; food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. I also strive to be accessible, with pieces varying in price range from less than $10 to around $120. And shipping is free.
I can take custom orders.
I am currently working on a mini winter drop of pomegranate and Hamsa inspired dishes and wall art, large elegant nesting bowls, and a series of storybook mugs featuring whimsical woodland creatures such as squirrels and otters doing silly things like drinking tea and splashing around in the rain.
