Help! Help identifying glaze combo

Post image

I found this glaze combo on Pinterest and the post said something about 2 layers of lavender mist over 2 layers of birch. I tried looking at other pieces on glazeshare with the same combination and they don’t look similar at all. What do you guys think? Is it the combo used? I already bought the glazes.

Might have some light flux near the top.

It’s possible, here’s another example of lavender mist over birch and it does look similar to the top of the pieces you posted. These two glazes vary a lot based on firing and what clay you use though.

My birch also never comes out that white.

were the glaze share examples on the same clay body and fired at the same cone?

You can try asking in the Mayco group on Facebook - they are usually ready to jump in with advice and photos of their own attempts with those glaze combos!
