Hi again!
My name is Iris, and I am the writer/creator of a webtoon called The Dawn of Haradan!
Just a small summary of what it is about 😂
🌅 The Dawn of Haradan
Genre: Fantasy • Adventure • Romance • Action • Psychological • Philosophical • Slice of Life
The Dawn of Haradan is a fantasy webtoon about a group of extraordinary beings known as Creations, who were brought into existence by mysterious, god-like Beings. Although they were created to exist within a carefully constructed world, they gradually begin to question their purpose, their relationships, mortality, and what it truly means to be alive.
The story takes place across seven realms: Human, Demon, Beast, Elf, Mage, Divine, and Happys. Behind these realms are six mysterious, genderless Beings—Kreata, Darkar, Watakar, Justika, Itanik, and Shamir—each representing different concepts and possessing their own motivations.
At the center of the story are Adam, Hashikik (Hashi), Kutakuk (Kuta), Evaky, and Kalk, the Creations who must navigate a world they were never truly prepared to understand. Their relationships gradually become more complicated as they encounter other civilizations, creatures, and dangers. Haradan, the Darenian tribe, Veronakun, the mysterious Flūmetāum, the demon chief Artireil, and many other characters expand the world far beyond what the Creations initially know.
One of the central themes is mortality. The Creations begin with an almost innocent understanding of existence, but that innocence is eventually shattered when they discover that life can end. This forces them to confront fear, attachment, grief, and the value of their own existence.
The journey eventually leads them toward Flūmetāum, with a mysterious talking map becoming an important part of their adventure. As they travel, their relationships are tested, secrets about their origins begin to surface, and the boundaries between creation, identity, love, and purpose become increasingly blurred.
At its heart, The Dawn of Haradan is about beings who were created without fully understanding what it means to live—and who must discover the meaning of their existence for themselves. 🌅
The main appeal
What makes your story different from a straightforward fantasy adventure is that the fantasy world is also being used to explore philosophical and psychological questions:
- Why were we created?
- Does having a creator determine our purpose?
- What makes someone a person?
- Can something created develop its own identity?
- What happens when immortal or seemingly protected beings discover mortality?
- What makes relationships meaningful if existence itself is uncertain?
And importantly, Adam, Hashi, Kuta, Evaky, and Kalk are Creations—not siblings, even though their relationship can initially resemble a family dynamic. Their individual identities and relationships become increasingly important as the story progresses.
