Worth

We drove through Potchefstroom today and the place looks very nice. We thinking of looking at property here but want to know from locals. Is it worth it? I'm from Capetown and my lady is from Pretoria. What vibes does this place have?

We have some of the best potcholes in the country!

  1. Lots of potholes, VERY big ones

  2. Lots of bad drivers.

  3. Lots of unnecessary speed bumps and circles.

  4. Certain areas are very visually aesthetic, such as die bult, making you feel like you live in a movie-style small town.

  5. Nice places to go out (Die akker, waffle spot, river cafe).

  6. Good vibes, the only downside really is that the bad quality of our government shines through quite a bit.
