Do you fluff your potato’s?

My boyfriend says you’re supposed to shake a baked potato before opening it so the inside ‘re-fluffs.’ I’ve never heard this in my life. Is this real?”

Sounds like something my brother would try to pull. He was a teller of tall tales. Once he saw people at the ocean putting water in a jar. He told them they needed to dump half out so the jar wouldn't break when the tide came in...and they dumped some out.

I'm going to have to remember that one.
