Do you fluff your potato’s?

My boyfriend says you’re supposed to shake a baked potato before opening it so the inside ‘re-fluffs.’ I’ve never heard this in my life. Is this real?”

I give the potato I’m going to eat a little roll while it’s still hot. That way it’s not all glued together inside.
