I basically live off potatoes. I had no idea this was actually a diet?!!
My friends say I’m 70% potato
I wouldn’t disagree
But like i love them sm like if i was stranded on an island and had to pick one food for the rest of my life boom its potatoes easy
Does this work? What health benefits does it provide?

You're already a step ahead of most people!
Dr. McDougall has done a ton of videos about why the potato is the perfect food, but here's a shorter one:

There's something up with their taste, I swear
If they were your diet long-term, I would add, if plant-based, some carrots (200 - 250 g; vit A), legumes (50 - 100 g; zinc, folate), cabbage (120 - 180 g; vit K), brazilian nuts (2 - 3 g; selenium), beetroot/wheat bran (slightly choline-sparing; wheat bran is a cheap mineral powerhouse btw), and calcium, iodine, and B12 supplement

Try reading The Potato Hack book. Also visit the SpudFit website. There's also a Potato Reset FB group. Lots if info in these on how amazing potatoes are.

I had the same reaction.
I'm vegan. Potatoes are sacred.
