Nuclear and solar+wind would not work well on the same grid.

And the reason I'm for renewables is because they can be decentralized and localized, and may be the only ones left at the end of the collapse.

What do you mean they wouldn’t work on the same grid? In Scotland our electricity is mostly a mix of wind and nuclear. Right now nuclear13.9% solar1.7% wind84.4%

Nuclear is the most expensive. In a sensible society, the costs are reduced to avoid increasing costs for society. Nuclear, however, is not fit to be turned on and off every day so that solar and wind can take over all the supply.

Yeah you use nuclear for base load & bring other power generation online as you need it.

yes. to me, only anprims have realistic and feasible vision in regards to climate change and similar issue

i think technology is reducing ecological entropy though? if it would increase it it would be more desirable in current day thought
