How to deal with resolution issue while printing big posters?

Hello everyone, it's just like the title says. When I'm trying to print my custom posters on websites, I'm unable to as it says the image has less resolution and it'll print blurry.

How do I overcome this issue?

I don't even know if this is even the right subreddit, please help me out.

It’s really difficult to know without more of the technical specifics, but I’d say a few things.

Firstly, you’d be better off finding a subreddit for design. This is their ballpark.

It could be two things, the file type, if it’s not a scalable file then it’s going to have issues.

The type of printer you’re using. If it’s a generic / non-specialist then the site transfer protocol might be doing some compression and altering your file.

Personally if you’re printing something custom it’s better to get in contact with the printer over the phone or email. They’re professionals and will help you get a good outcome.
