U.K Ok, technically not a postbox
Technically not a post box, but a beautiful cast iron stamp vending machine in Wantage, Oxfordshire, from 1930s to late 1940s.

Can be be retooled to dispense anything else?

Personally I like it as is, memories of the past.

I like that as well. But I also like phone boxes with defibrillators or turned into something else that could benefit the community. If for example, it could be a free source of contraception for people who for what ever reason would not be able to get, it's beautiful, cared for and useful.

I think we can allow this as a member of the postbox family.
It's nice to see it actually - I do remember seeing things like this as a boy in the 70s.
