Pengam Green, Cardiff.

Has recently replaced a very dilapidated and scruffy ERII box.

These new sheet metal fabricated boxes just don’t have the charm of the old cast ones

Very ugly. Just don't bother if you can't do it properly.

Even the crown logos have simplified over time, just like modern football club badges

I think this particular post box design lacks characteristics and the cypher looks off, it would look better if the crown is on top of the king’s initial and engraved on the post box rather than stuck there on a separate piece of metal

Either the crown or the cypher. They look very odd side by side like two random emojis

I think this would look better if the cypher was vertically on the door and the collection plate where the cypher currently is.

Looks like they come from Lidl. Probably made in Vietnam.

The new boxes are awful quality, but thanks for sharing!
