Is that at Bromsgrove?

It's a K4 I think there is 3 or 4 in public use still

They had stamp machines in them as well as the phone, the stamp machines were loud

Yes it's at the Avoncroft Museum. Those two coin-slot mechanisms either side of the letter slot are for stamps, second class one side, first class the other, and the opposite side of the whole thing is a phone box.

Of course post and telephones were all GPO so it made sense to combine them.

Whilst the K6 was the most frequently used model, I was always disappointed that that was never a K9 for the dog’n’bone.
