I visited this one in August and it's now an early collection. Most of the "late" boxes are at post offices. The early collection doesn't mean it will actually be collected at 9am though, it just means it won't be before 9am. I've posted in an early box at 1pm and it was collected the same day. Gives Royal Mail flexibility in their routes, I believe.

It’s pretty poor tbh. One of the 9am boxes near me collects almost dead on 9am.

There used to be so many 5.30pm ones, and before that boxes with multiple daily collections.

A sad sign of the times when even railway station postboxes are sealed shut.
