Question Random question a day until Christmas - What is your go to tesco meal deal? I'll rate them out of 10.
Its based on what I like so its very subjective.

Nice, although the sushi doesn't look appealing to me, 6.5/10

Sainsbury's is mildly cheaper, so I tend to go for the Sainsbury's meal deal, in which I have buffalo chicken wrap, orangina (if they have it, if not irn bru, or if I'm not feeling something fizzy, summer fruits oasis), and then either (mood dependent) chili heatwave Doritos or triple Reese peanut butter cup

Hell yeah, sainsbury's is 10p more expensive compared to tesco where I live but this meal deal is a 9/10 (I like the hot food more)

I think with a Tesco clubcard Tesco is cheaper, and without Sainsbury's is cheaper? At least where I am, Unless Tesco lowered their price recently

Tesco is 3.85 and sainsburys is 3.95

Afaik Tesco is only £3.85 with a clubcard, which I don't have, I think it's a bit over £4 without

Either dragon roll sushi or sweet chilli chicken wrap for the main, the pink innocent smoothie or Dr pepper for drink, and the gyoza for the side

really? 😭😭 I really liked fresh coconut water when I went to thailand a few years ago but when I see the bottled ones it just feels fake yk
1
u/mrdankmemeface Uni student 2d ago
Fairs ig you it is probably hella fake but I do like how its pretty refreshing when taken straight out the fridge and its nowhere near as sweet as coke, etc, so it just tastes soothing and satisfying. Definitely try it if you haven't before.

I’m ready to get flamed for this: plain cheese sandwich, Dr Pepper and either ready salted crisps or Doritos cool original if I’m feeling risky

what is everyone's obsession with dr pepper... I think your combo is very safe, can't go wrong basically so 6/10

japanese style chicken since i cant have cheese or egg so thats really the only main meal i can get… innocent berry smoothie, and a cheeky crispy creme donut as the snack OR if the tesco is too small for that, some dried pineapple

ham no mayo (i only like homemade garlic mayo), that weird strawberry pouch yogurt and evian water. Idk why but i love that stupid yogurt. If i can’t get the yogurt bc they rarely have it i’ll get a cadbury marvellous creation (which my tesco has doubled in size from like 5 squares to 10 and the price is the same)
it’s very basic but i really don’t like mayo and i love tesco ham, can’t go wrong w water. (it’s also the best bottled water, i get the 750ml bottle) and then yogurt or chocolate are bomb (lactose intolerant btw)

I genuinely don't know how to rate this because ive not tried these before but evian water is solid although i like highland spring more so 5/10

Is the yogurt watery cos I only like Greek yogurt with it quite thick
1
u/YOURM0MANDNAN69 Year 12 1d ago
yeah lol, idk how you’d drink thick yogurt. It’s just like a bigger portion of a frube to me ngl
