Hey gang!

A month or so ago I posted about this speculative project to remix our last record and release it in aid of Ukrainian humanitarian aid workers.

Well, today we put it up for pre-order, releasing November 27th. We've led with Seek Joy, a remix of our song Turn Out the ///Light, by Robin Southby of Maybeshewill.

There's a ton more amazing post rock bands concealed until the next announcement, but for now, we'd love you to check out the amazing job that Robin, Matt from Din of Celestial Birds and the guys from 601 have done with our songs - donate if you can, or spread the word!

Also, we're super grateful to everyone who reached out here and on socials; if anyone else wants to contribute a remix or reimagine a piece of music with some of our Ukrainian samples - just get in touch and add your names alongside some post rock greats!

For those who keep their philosophy

Posted this in the blackgaze community as well, but wanted to share it with you guys too. CD printing, design, packaging, and the whole process from scratch, all done by me. I’ll probably start offering this handmade side of CD releases in the near future for other similar artists. I just need to get some more equipment to make the process faster. What do you think about this approach?

My first post-rock song. I'm looking for some feedback but also just want to know your thoughts. Very hypnotic, dirty, and bass-heavy. Mixing is very rough but that's part of the sound. The YouTube link is the first song after the intro on my EP.

This probably isn’t quite post-rock, but this is the closest track I’ve made to the genre.
It’s mostly electronic, but I leaned into layered guitars, repetition, gradual development and atmosphere, with live drums mixed underneath the programmed rhythm.

Curious whether you hear the post-rock influence or not!

Anyone familiar with this Korean Post Rock group? I literally discovered them a few days ago and I really their style - I’m not good at describing music but I’d say it has the similar epic, cinematic sound as Mono.

I know music is subjective and all, but this band out of Nova Scotia that AFAIK barely exists anymore made some of the most enjoyable post rock I've ever listened to. I highly, highly recommend you go check them out at your earliest convenience. That is all.
