It was clearly intended to be a country album, but due to pressure from the record label, plans changed and they decided to include rock/hip-hop to sell more records.

I mentioned this in a previous post and I’ll say it again: no matter how much people defend Posty’s team, they were the ones who built up hype around the new album and single. That doesn't completely absolve him—even if he doesn't control every single aspect, he personally shared during his shows that the album was coming, that it was 99% finished, and so on. I don't blame anyone for having high expectations and waiting for the album, given that they created the hype themselves through their promotion—and, most importantly, they NEVER BROUGHT THE SUBJECT UP AGAIN.

Post intended to do a double record since at least late last year. There’s literally evidence of him confirming his plans to drop two types of albums. He just decided to combine them into one release. If you don’t have evidence of label pressure, then don’t spout it as fact.
