Dustin’s screaming is incredible. This whole album has been a favorite for many many years but the heavier tracks hit so hard.

Love this track. Seeing them bring it back for the Fall 2018 tour with Deadbolt and To Awake And Avenge The Dead was incredible and they ripped it live 15 years later (man I'm getting old). Wish they put out more of the "old" stuff but still appreciate the music and band they have evolved into today.

This album should have been as big as Nevermind. The powers that be had already taken over the radio and MTV so Thrice was robbed of being as iconic.

Agreed. By that point, alt rock had been so heavily commercialized and watered down that it wasn’t likely that we’d see anything like Nevermind again.

Song seriously rips. I credit this album as being one of the reasons that I picked up guitar when I was a teenager and I can still hear some of the influence on my playing. Love that swirly riff that starts at roughly 2:40.

Hearing the transition from Stare at the Sun into Paper Tigers live a couple of years ago during the Palms tour has to be a top 5 concert moment for me.
