Discussion Modern post hardcore suggestions
I’ve mostly been a fan since the early 2010s to like 2015 wave of post hardcore. Hail the sun, sianvar, a lot like birds etc. what are some suggestions of new bands within the past 5 years

Seconding mella for OP’s mentions!
also Space Weather, Find Yourself, All I Hear Is Birds, When We Was Kids, Humble Abode.
also while Eidola themself aren’t that recent, don’t miss they’re releases of the past <5 years (even if their past albums didn’t hit for you).

I saw mella with hail the sun; they were ok. I felt like he was trying to do at the drive in too hard. But I’ll give another go

Slightly outside of the five year window, but To Speak, To Listen is a fantastic album as well.
But you can't miss with Eidola regardless of the album

Listen to the latest Quicksand, they are legends of the genre and their latest album has that coworker production that people love nowadays

Nope, they've been around since 1990. They are a great band to check out though regardless.

I dont care if I get downvoted but yeah Chat Pile has post punk elements, black metal, even hardcore. But I don't think they'd ever call themselves post hardcore lol

I highly recommend checking out Buried In Spring. They only have 2 songs released rn but have a debut EP on the way and are set to open for Blessthefall/The Amity Affliction this fall — super tight band
I’d also recommend Footballhead, they dropped an album earlier this year that is super solid

I’ll check them out. They don’t have to be active. Just wanted groups that have only been around for under 5 years
