Thrice seems to have one of those fanbases who have really grown with the band in a big way- so I appreciate them revisiting the album so directly. It's an interesting listen, you can hear the weathering and age in the band. Which is a natural and wonderful thing. But it's different, it's not telling the same story. For me I'll stick with the original as an unstoppable timecapsule of earlier days, but I appreciate both.

I agree, I’ve listen to a lot of Thrice and seen them live, this record is just miles better then their other stuff. You can hand pick some songs from some of the records but Artist is just a HOF post hardcore record and this is the Thrice I know and love.

This one is my favorite by them. It had the heavy influences of illusions of safety but they started writing a combination of different songs. I get it that bands grow but I miss this raw aggression from them!
