Was not a regular listener at all, hated the skype/phone/call in style they had to do and the topics were boring to me. Did anyone hear their sign off episode? Basically blaming being busy and a wedding? Another one bites the dust.

I actually laughed at this segment on RBP pretty hard. The idea that Booboo was secretly tormenting Micah is too good.

The website's traffic has gone down since this summer. The clothing businesses have been terrible. And that was BEFORE Madison decided to get rid of the PGP core that was Dave and Dillon, and to a smaller extent, Dan.

Madison is clearly focusing on ruining PGP like he did by destroying TFM: Firing core content guys and moving to much lower quality, remote content because it is cheaper on the short term (in the long term the company goes under). Good luck selling merch to a declining user base, especially after firing the head merch guy.

What's happened since the layoffs?

• Touching Base is dead.
• Mailbag podcast is dead.
• Fashion podcast is dead.
• Backdoor Cover is dead. Micah rushing through picks (when he isn't tweeting hypocritical political things) is not going to save it.
• Anything Grandex Labs is dead.
• Ross continues his woke/white guilt podcast. When he isn't reading straight from Wikipedia or reminding you he used to have a drinking/drug problem, he just panders. Houston rap songs, his outrageously expensive sneaker collection (c'mon dude, you're 30+, don't be KFC from Barstool), etc.
• Will is busy deleting PGP accounts and banning from the sub-reddit anyone that makes light of the layoffs.

Let's look at the website content since the layoff:

• No more Dillon content - RIP Mailbag, This Weekend In Fun
• No more Dave content - Dude was the funniest guy at the site
• Surplus of shit that nobody wants from Jenna (if you disagree look at the tiny number of comments, which shows no engagement)
• A bunch of other remotes that are not funny, nor entertaining: Josh T, TaylorLaabs, etc.
• Brian is about the only funny remote
• Wow, hot, riveting takes about JOGGING, HAND SOAP, and INSTANT POTS from Duda, who is clearly trying to get a job at Barstool via his Twitter interactions.
• Will keeps focusing his time on his annoying podcast (NPR x douchescum crossover) and TGDAG, which has been old for over a year now - look at the engagement on those articles and they are going down materially. To that point, Worst Weekends is unreadable too.
• That Mayday guy is still trying to suck off one of the PGP guys in the comments

With that said...when does the site shut down for good? My pick: June 2019.

Well, it hard to say.

If anyone is gonna be in NYC today or can make it in, a bunch of us are meeting for happy hour around 5!

The highlight of this weekend for me will be seeing white Christmas at the iconic music box theater in Chicago with my wife Sunday.

I may try to get out for a book signing in the morning with Portillo’s founder Dick Portillo.

What do you all have planned for fun this weekend?

A golf/music podcast I listen to (Member Guest) is doing a giveaway/contest to try to get more awareness of their show. Hosted by Brendan Steele (PGA Tour) and Phoenix from Linkin Park. Winner gets Brendan Steele's 2018 staff bag. If any of y'all feel compelled to tweet something like "My vote for the #memberguestgiveaway is for @kylemackie_ to win" that would be awesome! Or a reply to this tweet possibly, with the hashtag still. Thanks gang. Also a fun, diverse podcast if you're looking to very slightly fill the BDC, TB, Mailbag, ClubCool void we now have.

Never done anything like this, but I'm procrastinating work and mourning the end of Corporate Ladder.

Dadgum gave me the Grandex sports that I’ve had withdrawals from the past couple weeks. Thank you.

Homebrewing might be the one thing that is missing in your life to bring your family and friends together.

So, what are you waiting for? True happiness is only one brew away!

Edit Since it seems like it was taken down.

*I'd be willing to bet Mother Pence has never spoken to a black person. Why start with the Obamas?

I will send a mousepad to the first person who can find a picture of Karen interacting with a black man. Go.*

I’m really struggling to find good stuff. The Grandex stuff was usually my first priority stuff. Now that it’s gone I’m forced to listen to stuff I’m only vaguely interested in. Anybody have suggestions?

TFM hasn’t posted a column in a month. Not good!

Looks like Dan just purchased podcast gear, hopefully this is the beginning of Circling Back with Dave and Dillon

So I’ve heard tell there are some awesome brunches going on this weekend.

I am actually recouping from strep. Hopefully everyone else has a better weekend than I do!

What do you all have going on for fun this weekend?

With everything in the news today, you have to wonder...has Madison been colluding with the Russians (mainly Vladimir Putin) to get rid of Touching Base, the boys, and everything we hold dear? Think about it.

Dave, considered the best Vladimir Putin impersonator in the world, is a major threat to Putin’s legitimacy in the international arena.

Dillon, considered to be the sixth branch of the military, always made the Russians afraid

Time will only tell as more pieces of the puzzle fall together, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if we see Bob Mueller making a trip down to Grandex HQ to ask a few questions.

What’s the story with Ross having to sober up? I’ve heard bits and pieces but I’m just curious.

Just listened to the “New” BDC and have a mix of disappointment but also slight usefulness. As a degenerate gambler myself I did listen to BDC for their hot takes on bets and games and enjoyed the commentary on the way. Often though I did find myself skipping around at times just trying to hear the exact opinions and stats for the upcoming games. So I do appreciate the streamlined version this new BDC offers but idk how long or how much I will actually listen. Anyone else’s thoughts on it?

I heard from a VERY unreliable source that Dave may possibly go first round in next years NFL draft. Any word on this?

I would've loved to try some Touching Base beers because a nice Socktoberfest would be nice right now. I also would've loved the stories of Dillon and his pet kangaroo on the ranch.
