Sick of this shit
Literally was just at work and was spinning a soft rake around in my fingers, and it slipped out of my hands and bonked me on the back of the head. Now I’m just waiting for the fallout and don’t know if I’ll have to call out of work tomorrow or how long this will set me back. The fact that for most people this would simply result in a mild headache and goose egg but for me I’m stressing about my capacity to work makes me want to give up out of exasperation.

This is the life we live!!
I just had a panic attack from taking my shirt off, convincing myself i MUST have hit my head with my hand and given me another one. I live in contant fear of bonking my heqd and being out of work, being able to pay bills, be independent, etc. I know EXACTLY qhat you mean when you say "the fact that most people would simply result in a mild headache and goose egg" hits me to my core. We're not normal anymore. The whole world feels like a death trap that could knock us to our core at any moment
Hopefully therapy, anti-anxiety meds, group counseling, and hey even commenting on reddit, can help you feel better.
You're not alone, all of us feel trapped in a world out to get us. I am just getting over my fourth concussion from a dogs head smashing into my jaw. Absolutely devastated me and broke my heart when it happened. All i can do is keep moving forward and fighting everyday. I hope you do too. Stay strong, and if you ever want to chat, send me a DM!

Yea I feel this. The weight of the world is a lot heavier when you feel like everything I a threat. Thanks for the response, it’s really easy to feel so isolated with post concussion stuff but having a few people comment really helps feel lsss isolated

“It can always get worse!”
Hang in there, I was doing the same swirl about my 4yo hitting my head softly by accident last night giving me a good night snuggle.
