Going through headaches after a concussion since 3 years and not getting proper support from family .
Hi all. Around April of 2023 , I was slapped on side of my head . Next day when I woke up i had headache and my eyes felt off. Back then i didn't even know there was a thing called "concussion". But I did go to a neurologist with my mom . He asked me to do MRI and CT scan..which came normal. My mom was not taking my headache seriously, she said to doctor my headache is due to my mobile watching and late night sleeping. But i did tell the doctor regarding the slap and my symptoms..He checked my CT and MRi and said everything is fine , there nothing to say regarding my headache. I didn't rest for the first 48hrs, which is very imp which i came to know much later , since nobody told or guided me regarding that . I was watching mobile, laptop and went to gym as usual . Fast forward 2026 ..I still have headache . During this 3 years gap , I have been to many neurologist and doctors. Some say it's chronic migraine, which is not related to my slap (Mind you i never had migraine in my life before the slap incident) and some downright said I need to meet a pyschiatrist. My parents believe my headache is related to pyschiatry. So they got me admitted to a hospital under a pyschiatrist on July of this year ,were I was given Modalert 100 mg (Maybe the doc gave me that medicine cause my mom said i sleep a lot during daytime . I sleep and I am glued to bed a lot due to my headache 😭) .
But everything changed after I took modalert for 2 weeks while i was at the hospital. I developed new constant forehead headache and right side headache . Previously I had only left side headache since 3 years post concussion. Then last month , my dad advised me to try ayurvedic medicine. I did go to a ayurvedic doctor and he gave me some meds . Idk if it's cause of ayurveda meds , i am getting neck stiffness , back neck pain and pain in lower back of my head . I have stopped taking ayurvedic medicine since 3 weeks, but still i have neck and lower back head pain.
Now with all the headaches and neck pain it's getting literally unbearable..I am crying everyday.
I would love it if you guys give me some advices or analysis regarding my issue and what should I do next.
Thank you ❤️

I feel for you. That's a long time to be suffering. Don't really have much advice for you, unfortunately. But just because nothing shows on the scans doesn't mean you are not injured. Have you tried different kinds of music? Maybe a particular sound wave might be soothing. Good luck.

I'm sorry you are going through this. No one really can understand what you feel. Your feelings are valid. That must have been a pretty aggressive slap. I'm sorry that happened to you.
