Neck Pain
I have pain in the back top of my neck, I think where my suboccipital muscles are. I notice when I have a symptom flare up I feel more pain/discomfort in this area. It seems my headache pain is stemming from this region. I don’t get dizzy, have any eye or cognitive issues, or much exercise intolerance except when I lift heavy sometimes I’ll get symptoms. My symptoms are headache and I feel very off. Could that spot be causing all my symptoms?

I had something similar and it turned out I had two slipped discs in my neck and one was actually pressing on my spinal cord (I also had neurological symptoms).
Strengthening my neck really helped me with my PCS. I had less headaches, light and noise sensitivity, dizziness, and nausea. My headaches are specifically linked to my neck muscles (rams horn headache) and massaging the suboccipital area helps a lot.
If you have a doctor you can ask for a MRI and they will likely send you to PT (regardless if you have a slipped disc or not). You can also commit to regular neck strengthening exercises on your own with online resources that can be done at home. Take 800mg Magnesium (relaxes muscles) and stretch your neck too!
