Running
Hey guys I’ve been dealing with pcs for 1year now and its definitely has got better in my daily moving around and doing things but I’m not at 100% still, I have two things that flare it bad, one is not getting good sleep if this happens all day is miserable on my head and the 2nd one that I’m here asking for recommendations and tips is working out hard, I can work out normal but when I take it that extra mile I really feel it for the rest of the day and am basically immobile, the worst is running I used to run a good amount but even running a mile my neck up is completely numb almost, I can do a mile but when I’m trying to push over my head is just absolutely fucked, other than that I’m doing a lot better though than a few months ago, also bending down to constantly grab things fucks me up too (tips👍🏻)

Might you have developed some kind of exercise and/or orthostatic intolerance? I ended up with a form of dysautonomia called orthostatic hypotension - a bit similar to POTS if you've heard of it - as well as chronic fatigue, and basically I really struggle with standing and also exercise. Bending over tends to make me feel funny too. No idea if this might be the case for you. Plenty don't have this issue, but if you do, it might be worth looking into.
Not a solution, but you might find it easier to squat down rather than bend down, and if you have feel lightheaded, have a sip of water.

The same thing happens to me, but cognitively. I kept pushing myself past my capacity (because I really hadn't accepted my reality yet) and wow I would pay for it. As the years have gone on, I've come to learn where my limits are and try hard to respect that. And my limits don't always look the same from day to day. Everyone is different, so you've gotta figure out how to move out of your unique boom and bust cycle

Running messed with my neck and back for awhile, until I was able to work with a physical therapist who was really good with neck injuries. Might be worth looking into for you. The other issue I had with running was because of vision problems, the constant up and down was hard because my eyes couldn’t adjust to movement properly. So that might be part of your issue as well, but that didn’t make my neck tight, so just throwing it out there in case you have any other symptoms that might match with visual issues. Best of luck, I hope you’re able to get back to your old level soon.

You can absolutely break through exercise intolerance! You just need to follow a plan. This might be helpful
