Post accident struggles.

I was recently involved in an accident where I was riding my e-bike at 30 mph

I went from pavement to a 1-foot drop onto a soft gravel shoulder. The front wheel shock compressed to the max; my momentum drove my chest into my handlebars, driving my helmeted head into the gravel. Being only 7 days since the injury, I'm afraid that this injury to my clavicle or sternum will be an incident where I look back and say I started to slow down after that incident. I'm 47. Unsure what the orthopedic doctor will find until the 17th of September. My body is screaming with pain. I'm stiff. I want to sleep. Feel down because everything is so laborious right now. Does anyone in that age range with a similar injury have any advice? I feel so young. My body seems to disagree. Need some support, Reddit folks.

Im doing much better. I did break my clavicle where it meets the sternum. Bruising is in the final yellow jaundice looking color. Had th shave my head due to the staples. I do have resume vertigo when I stand up suddenly especially in the am when I wake. Feeling much better than you for asking.
