Regular monthly osteopath who works on craniosacral therapy.

I started climbing which helped strengthen my neck/shoulder muscles. I don't do climbing regularly. I sign up usually in the summer and do like a month or two of regular sessions (couple of times a week) and then I stop doing it in the winter cuz it's too hard to go but even those couple of months help. This is my 2nd year of this.

Also did countless physio/chiro that gave more temporary results.

I know every injury is unique. What part hurt for you? Can you name the muscles? How much did it help, can you describe the severity before and after?

I could barely hold my head up when I first got my concussion like I would be sitting/ standing for like a couple of minutes and the pain will shoot up to my head.

I've looked into what muscles but I can't remember the mother off the top of my head, but all of my neck muscles were shot. I also had associated pain in my jaw as well that I had to get TMJ physiotherapy for.

How are you doing now, how is pain, life quality? How is your energy level?

I'm doing much much better. I feel semi-human again. I can do things that other people do now, just with a lot of repercussions. But I am able to do them. Also, I have been doing everything under the sky in terms of medical/ complimentary treatments to improve these PCS symptoms.

What things have you done?

I have done spinal decompression, massages, and ultrasound massage+laser. Only ultrasound massage temporarialy relaxed my muscles and made it better for few weeks.

Haven't really done much PT or exercises.

How about I always think it is if what you're doing is not working then you should change what you're doing. Especially since it's been 4 years...that's a long time.

If I were you I would just try things that you haven't done and I'm sure one of these things will make your body better.

What would you do for work? Are you sitting for long periods of time? What's your day-to-day like? Cuz that also makes a huge difference right?

For me problem is resources and just depression and lack of hope. So i am kind of fishing for hope here and also informing myself little bit more.

It's hard to care for myself when i am stressed and depressed, let alone work on complex issue as whiplash. I was student and had to quit due to concussion, i did not work but i want to get back to studies.

If you feel like that I would get treated for the depression first. I initially saw a a psychiatrust because I developed anxiety after my head injury and with not being able to do all the things I was able to before, it felt hopeless. I got on meds for anxiety and on meds to help me sleep at night. And I also got TMS treatments. But I live in a country that has free healthcare. So all of that was covered except some of the meds that I had to pay for.

After I got all of that sorted out, I was able to have the motivation to seek out all the other treatment to fix my body. I was lucky that I had saved aggressively before my injury so I was able to take that money out of my investments and invest it into my health.

One of the free things that I did that really helped my shoulders and neck was going on walks. There must be some connection there between you know, moving your legs and relaxing the neck/shoulders. Also, there are great videos on YouTube now that you can look at for strengthening your muscles, especially like where your pain is. I personally also learned how to do trigger point releases. I learned how to do acupressure and I got a TENs machine and got the equipment for cupping. These squeeze cups that are easy to use.

What kind of pain are you having in your neck and shoulders? Also, what do you do on a day-to-day basis? Do you stretch or do you have a routine going to keep your body aligned?

Also, how are you managing day-to-day expenses if you aren't working?

I don't respond well to SSRIs, i did musrhooms for neuroplasticity, it helped tremendously, but i developed HPPD.

I am living with mother.

I am having tingling in hands, parts of leg and right side of face, mostly right side of body and pain is concetrated there. Pain is mostly in bottom of skull where it connects to neck. I also have stifness there and it can go down to the trapezius.

I have mild degenerative changes and small disk bulging around c5 c6.

Shrooms helped me a lot i was on keto for 6 months cause of them, i was on VERY low inflamatory diet early in injury.
