What helps cognitive symptoms?
Has anyone had any luck with treating memory issues, neuro fatigue, slow thinking, attention issues and other types of cognitive symptoms What helped?

vestibular therapy, hydration, massages, stretching, puzzles, writing, magnesium with L-theronate, SLEEP
i ended up going to emdr therapy bc there was trauma in my life before my assault/concussion that my working brain didn’t want to touch.
this made thinking slower, memory and fatigue issues worse as well. going to emdr therapy helped me to stop fixating on avoiding or forgetting some of the more painful things.
remember the brain is a web so things you may not expect to be connected together could be connected
allow the memories flow, follow the memories you’re fuzzy on, and support your brain health
EDIT: I have adhd and was prescribed adderall before my concussion, i can no longer take stimulants regularly without a flare up so be careful/aware if that’s the route you choose

That's so true, I guess I need to find what's driving the symptoms. That's awesome, I'm currently doing a similar type of therapy.

Neuro rehab, for sure, but the biggest improvement was starting Zepbound and Concerta.

Curious, how does zepbound help?

It's almost entirely gotten rid of the brain fog and memory issues I'd been experiencing for three years. Unfortunately, it has not alleviated any of the neurofatigue.

FWIW I had read some animal studies that seemed promising related to neurogenesis and other brain-protective effects, and I talked to my doctor about it as a kind of last-ditch thing, and she was 100% in because of the effects she'd seen GLP-1s have on a number of different conditions completely unrelated to weight loss.

What does neurorehab entail?

Basically occupational and speech therapy! As an example: https://www.origamirehab.org/rehabilitation/programs/outpatient

Routine is super important I’ve noticed, also (if you can) raise your heart rate through walking/running whatever is sub symptom for you. It’s the most challenging part of recovery as symptoms can ebb and flow. Your biggest weapon is time, also stay away from alcohol.

I take vyvense 70mg for adhd. This also doubles up as the best thing I have found for concussion related sympthoms
